Sewailo Golf Club

I was impressed by the condition of the course, especially the greens, despite the 100 degree summer heat in Tucson. I play a variety of courses and these greens rank near the top of my list.

My only complaint is that they expect you to bring your own water bottle to fill up at their water stations and that water becomes basically undrinkable after a couple of holes as it quickly becomes hot water. It would be nice if they filled the cooler on the cart with ice so you could keep your water cold.

Sewailo is the best course in the Tucson area. Everything was first class. A nice break from playing dried-out beat up Tucson city courses.

This is definitely a must play course in Tucson with a very fair rate. The course is always in great shape with demanding shots off the tee or you will find the fairway bunkers. Staff is friendly. You arrive with your cart having your name in it and ready to hit the complimentary practice range with your paid round. It’s a must play and it great time with your closest friends. You play it once and you will definitely return!

All areas of this course are in great shape. Greens especially good, and compared to other Tucson and Green Valley courses, better than them all. Smooth and fast, but fair as well. Maybe a private layout could come close, Ventana, La Paloma or Omni, but not at this courses lower fee.

Balls will plug in bunker walls (rare in this part of the golf world) and based on the sheer number , and difficulty of the bunkers, you will be working to avoid them as you negotiate the course.

Employees friendly and attentive, GPS on the carts very helpful. Restrooms well placed, clean and with water stations.

Love the design and you can see they work to improve it or maintain this place....well done!

Course was in an incredible shape and needless to talk about the greens...They were Perfect.

The only think a bit annoying was while driving the cart sometime will stop due to approaching an area that was no mark it visible to our group. it happened 2-3 times then, we were walking more which is always good

Just drink lots of water because it is still very hot. There is water involved in 14 of the holes on Sewailo, and that is why the grass is always green; as the Tribe has rights to water passing through their lands, and they don't skimp on this course. The Marshall was very good at holding up a slow (beginner) group so our faster (experienced) group could play through. This would be a very challenging course for beginners. The beverage cart met up with us 4 or 5 times (If you're not hydrating, you won't play well). The Fish Tacos in the restaurant are Delicious..
