Sewailo Golf Club

A sunny day and playing with 3 young guys who knew the way. It’s a fun layout that requires you to pay attention. Lots of room but still challenging. The course was set up pretty hard, lots of pins tucked into small edges, so it was extra challenging but still fun.

Exceeded expectations. As challenging as you want to make it. Multiple T boxes to suit every level of play.

Get ready for lots of sand play. Great range. Looks like a nice open course, but some trouble with water and bunkers. Beautiful setting. Definitely worth a play.

Love this course and it’s one of the most beautiful in Tucson, but my god today was awful. The 2 groups in front of us couldn’t keep up with the pace and dragged for all 18 holes. Saw the beverage cart one time on the second hole and never again, even requested it (it has an option on the cart screen) and never saw it again. Called and complained about the pace and they threatened to charge me for my 4th player that didn’t show up. I’ve never been charged for that before in my life. Awful experience and I usually love this place.

Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Greens hold approach shots and are fast. Loads of bunkers. Some holes, however, almost unfair since no rough. Can hit a perfect drive over fairway bunkers and it runs though the "rough" into the desert. That said, it is one of the top public courses in Tucson. Great practice facilities. Staff is always very welcoming.

This is a course that requires experience. Precise ball placement and forced carries are especially difficult in the 10-20 mph winds we dealt with. The course is attractive but extensively bunkered.

Fairways are in excellent condition. Greens are running true.

Accuracy off the tee is paramount here. If you miss the fairway you are either in a bunker, in the desert or in the water. To say this course is well bunkered is an understatement.

Sewailo is a true desert course. My husband and I were paired up with two gentlemen also golfing the course for their first time. It was a very enjoyable round under January sun :) The course is expansive with a lot of sand to add mucho challenge! We would definitely play it again.

Nice course right next to casino. Really slow today. Great staff. Would recommend

By the 9th hole there were 5 groups on the hole. No marshal to address slow play. Fairways mowed short as a green. Greens in rough shape but rolled fast. Left after 9 holes as it was a poor experience. Had tee time for next day but didn’t go back for it. Save your $ and play somewhere else that is enjoyable.

Played with my husband. Had a nice layout and course well-maintained. Staff very friendly. Would definitely play again.

Played with my wife. Staff and course conditions were fabulous. Plenty of sand to avoid. Tee locations great for both of us. Back nine was my favorite but enjoyed all 18. Staff in and out of clubhouse was top notch and friendly. Finished right at dusk and headed to casino for dinner. Great afternoon. Home course for AZ and followed them in practice round.

The course is in great shape, greens are challenging. Really enjoyed playin there.

Had heard about Sewailo thru a friend, so decided to book a round as a single on current visit to Tucson. Turned out to be an excellent choice for several reasons - great layout and facility, friendly people, beautiful sunny day. Loved it!

The layout is great ....the price is fair ....the course is in great shape and challenges you with many type of shots

My favorite course in Tucson. On top of that it is great value. Layout is great. Every hole is a new surprise and a different challenge. Front 9 is a lot easier For scoring. and then the bag nine grabs you and the Bear attacks. Great for match play. 17 could be my favourite hole in Tucson. I have played Troon North a fair bit and I place this course just slightly behind

Greens are a little soft but roll very true. Fairways and tees are perfect. Pro shop is good. Canteen/bar is all you need. Great practice facilities.

Only negatives are the soft greens which lead to a good number of Ballmarks and the bunkers tend to have some players who “forget” to take. Not the course’sfault.

Can’t say enough about this course.
