About
Sewailo Golf Club is part of the Casino Del Sol Resort in Tucson, a luxurious resort run by the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. The course's name, Sewailo, means "flower world" in the Yaqui language. When the idea of creating the golf course was first formed, the tribe enlisted the help of fellow Native American and PGA Tour player Notah Begay III as well as renowned course architect Ty Butler. The team fully utilized the rugged landscape, crafting a championship layout with a range of shot values and a variety of hazards. The bunkering is minimal but strategic, added to complement the natural features rather than overpower them. There are also lakes and meandering streams that come into play. Sewailo Golf Club has five sets of tees with the longest stretching to 7,400 yards.

Excellent experience
Outstanding layout with 6 tees for every player. We played the Ruby/Jade combo which clocked in at over 6500 yards. Very challenging yet fair test for our 12 hdcps. Not gimmicky like a lot of desert courses. Course in great shape, we’ll marked and greens roll true. Holes 16-18 finish spectacular.
Downsides were slow pace led to 4.5 hour round. Ranger was on it and apologized about the one group holding us all up.
Overall great experience and will be back again.
Challenging scenic course
My husband and I played this course on our first day in Tucson. It is very playable for all levels but there is a lot of sand and we found most of it. The course is easy to navigate, the staff was very nice and they provided guides and advice for newcomers. Overall a pleasant experience for our first round.
Great day
Enjoyed my round Staff was excellent and the course was in good condition.
Take a chance
Wanted to play this course; heard good things. 2 pm tee time meant we might not finish. Would have except for an extremely slow foursome two groups ahead. This course could use marshals because we would have finished if that group were monitored. Nice layout; not too difficult, wonderful staff and amenities. Just frustrated at pace of play.
Great Course!
We played this track on a Saturday afternoon. We got a great twilight rate and the golf course was well worth it!
The course was in great shape! Greens were fast and rolled true. The fairways and tee boxes were in great shape as well.
All staff we interacted with genuinely wanted you to have a good time which made this an even better experience!
I would definitely recommend this track to anyone in or going to the Tucson area!
Beautiful and challenging course
Who knew there could be so much water in the desert. Fun course. Fairways and greens in awesome shape. Really had a great day.
Rider fee!
Played the course on 03/07/19. The course conditions were excellent. Sewailo charged a $25 rider fee for my wife which I thought was excessive. Star Pass and Dove Mountain didn't charge such a fee when I played there.
Sewalo the good
Third time playing Sewalo and always a great day. The staff is very very nice and the course in immaculate shape. 18 different holes challenging but fair.
One of the best
This is definitely one if my favorite tracks around here. Always in great condition, regardless of season. Fair tee options for any golfer, yet challenging enough to take on the risk takers. I keep this one in my rregular rotation of courses. A must play if you're in the Tucson area
Cancellation policy
We had to cancel one person because of health conditions and the course wouldn’t refund any of the charge said that was money that GolfNow charges. This is the second time we had the course say they wouldn’t refund any money paid to GolfNow It sucks.
Nice course
Roadrunner first 9 is not for me. I like Coyote better. Keep up ground is Great. I played Coyote and Rattler last summer. It was very hot.
