Norfolk premier golf.

This course isn’t your typical course although hole layouts are very easy unless you can hit every green then the fairways will ruin your day I’m afraid the rough and green are basically the same ground is very hard and terrible for trying to get unneath the ball, clearly not looked after proplely I would recommend this course to a beginner.

SHAME NO TROLLEYS

The only downside to a good day was to be told no trolleys were allowed on the course because of heavy rainfall on previous day. If I'd known I would have packed my bag harness but had to walk all 18 (2 x 9) holes carrying my bag by the handle. Sure, there was standing water at various points but nowhere my trolley with hedgehog wheels would damage, so I was disappointed. Nonetheless a reasonably good day for all 3 of us (the others both had bag harnesses/straps).

Great for Beginner

Hadn't played course before but it was nice and local. must be a relatively new course as trees are still young and fairways a little patchy in places, which made playing off them tricky due to such dry weather recently. Vey few bunkers and those that are there are very shallow, no water hazards.

I really enjoyed my round and found the open fairways helped me to relax and play better tee shots. My playing partner is a little better than me and I think he wanted a bit more of a challenge. I didn't realise when I booked that it was only a 9 hole course but you can play twice and the second 9 are from different tee positions. One or 2 holes work well as the holes turn from a straight shot to a dog-leg.

Once the course matures a bit I thik it will be great. also looks possibly like there is room to expand course in future years?

Excellent Experience - Highly Recommended

The course was in excellent condition (could do with some rain though as the fairways were hard in places) and was a fair test. The greens were good with accurate approach shots required in order to stop the ball on the green. It was great to see proper rough - a poor shot should be penalised.

The club shop staff were extremely friendly and helpful - both pre and post round.

I will definitely return
