A challenge for sure
This course is not for the faint hearted and is priced in the upper range for local courses, but was in wonderful condition. Tough holes, blind drives, some long Carrie's and tight fairways mean you need to be realistic with your handicap and pick the right tee boxes or the course will eat you up, along with the golfers queuing behind you. Played it again since, definitely a course you must write off your first round score as you get to know the layout but overall a wonderful experience playing here.

Course plays WELL
Greens play true, tee boxes are placed pretty good on all holes but one on a par 3 on the back 9 by the water.

Overpriced, mismanaged, scenic
Very scenic, photogenic course- but that’s about all of the positives.
The driving range is incredibly disappointing for a course of this price. Balls are given by old school coin style machine (but uses code instead of coins) that will charge you each time you swipe your card, but only give balls for about 1/3 of your swipes. Told management , they said to bring CC receipts (since you get no receipt at machine). I did, they refused to refund the extra charges. Recommend bringing cash and getting code from pro shop, otherwise you’ll pay double or triple of the already overpriced range ball amounts.
Fairways are mostly decent (average) but have more standing water hazards, dry spots, dead spots than most courses.
Greens are very sub par, most par 3 courses have better greens than Cobblestone.
Tee boxes are about 50% sand and dirt 50% grass, uneven, not graded, and no amenities.
Carts are outdated, no screens, no gps
Overzealous cart path only rules
No cart drink/snack service any time I’ve played
Starter rushes and crowds foursomes, pace of play is terrible.
The membership program is the most over complicated program I’ve ever read or seen. There are about 6-8 different membership levels if you include al discounted rates, and about 8 different rates for different days and times for each membership level. So you need a matrix to come up with all the variables of what you’ll be paying at your member level and the day and time you want to play.
Also golf now is nearly always lower than the best membership price
If you don’t mind driving 15-30 minutes you can play several much better courses for much less
Way overpriced, average course

Challenging course in great condition
While there may be a few bare spots on the ingress and egress from fairways mainly due to wash out from heavy rains and excessive cart wear the course is in amazing condition.
I’ve been playing this course for seven years and I’ve never seen the greens in better condition they are smooth relatively quick and rolling very true great job to the course superintendent for bringing back this gem of a course to the condition it should be in.
I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a challenging but fair track that rewards good shot selection but does have some penalties for bad shots
