From the time you step in the Pro Shop till you pack up to go home , you will love it !!
The course is in fantastic shape and the layout is amazing ! Good speed on the greens , fairways like a carpet and “ T “ boxes for the low to high handicap players .
A truely magnificent facility that you will want to play again and again !!

Went out for a solo round and ended up in a foursome. Great guys to play with and were very friendly.

At tee box we were informed by the course police , in no uncertain terms, that it was CART PATH ONLY. The foursome consisted of four 70 plus seniors. Playing as normal we were informed again by the course police we were 15 minutes behind, and needed to speed up. Could care less you have to climb over bunkers from the cart path to get to the fairway. Took some joy out of playing. At the turn we were visited again, and told if we took a break, no guarantee when we could start. We played thru .Around number 14 he showed up again and again we were 15 minutes behind. There was a twosome behind us that refused to play thru, altho offered several times. Course cop was then told we were playing as fast as we could , with bad knees,etc. Will not play there again even tho the course is beautiful.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. We apologize if you felt rushed, and we thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback as we will use your review to better the experience going forward. Great Course!
Enjoyed the course. Beautiful surroundings. Course has lots of bunkers and water, very challenging for intermediate golfers like myself. Greens had been aerated (sp?) about 10 days prior, but were still playable and in good shape.

HORRIFIC ATTITUDE
I had the initial T time of the day 7:30am. I arrived before 7am with the intention of warming up at the practice area. As I walked to the practice area, an employee was placing the bag stands out on the driving range. As I walked to the chipping/sand practice area I smiled and said, "good morning". I looked at the man and he ignored me. I was surprised and kept looking at him and he kept staring at me. He clearly understood I was speaking to him.
I finally asked, "are you not capable of saying hello?". His reply was, "I am on the phone, do not bother me." I was just about floored and kept walking. As I finished practicing I tried to engage him again to get his name. He simply ignored me and drove around the driving range in his cart literally doing nothing but wasting time.
After my round I went into the pro shop to speak to the GM. He and the desk employee were sitting in nice chairs watching TV. The GM seemed indifferent as if the employee owned the place and could behave any way he chose.
The course is amazing but I have met many "regular" players who behave as if they are owners and employees that clearly have no concept of cordial conduct towards their customers. It is no wander their total rounds played has reduced year after year. I can play as nice courses for less money and actually get the impression people want my business.

Found it to be cart path only at arrival and a humid day. Not Cobblestone issue but as wore out before done. Always enjoy this layout and surroundings. Pace of play good for being packed.

Everything was perfect
From the moment you arrive everything is right there. The clubhouse driving range putting area and cart rental were easy access. Beautiful fairways and greens were great . Pace of play normal . Thx

COURSE IS EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET
Paid on GolfNow only to find out that I only paid green fees ($35 per person X 2). Got to course and they said your balance is $70...I thought I had already paid, but found out I was paying for the 18 hole round plus green fees. I am one year new to the sport so forgive my ignorance! We had a 6 PM tee time...not possible to get in 18 holes at the pace we were on with two groups in front of us slowing us down - my mistake for not putting 9 holes on GolfNow. Can't take the golf cart into the parking lot to load up your bag. They do have a bad drop though. Carts were a bit worn - functional though.

Cobblestone
Course was playing pretty wet, lots of fresh sod and spots on the fairways that disappear balls. No cart path was annoying but it was playing pretty wet. Traps were unhittable. Carts were in disrepair - first one had terrible alignment and had to get turned in and the second one’s e-brake pedal barely worked, had to mash it in. Super annoying the starter over a loud speaker screaming the groups and you can hear it all over the course - started broadcasting during my backswing multiple times. Marshall\ranger was nice but we were reprimanded for going two feet off the path to go around someone.
Overall course was fine, not too hard or challenging, wide fairways, although Im not sure management realizes this is a pretty basic course for how seriously they take themselves.

Great condition
Course was in very good condition. Cart path only on a few holes on the front 9 due to re-sodding. Overall great experience as usual.

Beautiful lakeside layout.
Course is in great shape. It used to be tighter than it is now and we enjoyed the round in spite of hot july GA weather!
One negative: they had the "no carts" markers back a ridiculous length, often equal to or exceeding the 150 yard markers. May as well have been cpo!
Pace of play was poor, mostly due to the walking back and forth.

Nice course, overpriced
Only two complaints are the price relative to the course and cart path rules were excessive.
