About
Alhambra Golf Course has a player-friendly design that is ideal for beginners but also great for more experienced players who are looking for a quick but fun round. The layout is a shorter par-71 design at 5,478 yards. It may not be long but it offers plenty of other challenges. There is plenty of variety between the two vastly different nines. The front nine holes are fairly flat, parkland holes with generous fairways lined with trees. The beginning holes provide a good warm-up for Alhambra Golf Course's more difficult back nine where you'll have to use every club in your bag. The back sprawls across rolling terrain, incorporating elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. There are also more strategically placed bunkers on the back nine. Alhambra's 16th is the signature hole. This tricky par 5 begins with an intimidating tee shot over water in order to reach the fairway.

Needs work
Slow slow play, no marshal. Many unplayable areas on fairways. Some greens good some not so good. Have played and enjoyed coarse before, surprised at condition.

The greens were great, fairways nice but there was alot of standing water and mud holes throughout, definitely a maintenance issue that needs attention.

Swampy
Play here quite often. The course was so over soaked today. Puddles in fairways and mud ruts from carts. It was muddy everywhere. Not worth full price today.
Fun and not overly long
Got to play w/fivesome real fun, not long but challenging, nice layout but still approachable for hi handicappers like me

good challenge and fun
Course was in great shape, some bare spots on fairway for some holes, Greens are in wonderful shape and great speed at the moment --- but for some reason, fellow golfers DONT fix divets made by their balls landing on the green! Maybe for some reason it's too much work for the golfer hitting a good shot onto the green? Suggesting the staff provide the tool and instruct folks to fix their divets. Maybe it comes with the cart? ....I had to fix several on each hole. Eventually it adversely effects the green, pace of play and execution of putts. A couple of tee boxes need repair, but again, most were great. Look foward to playing there again.

Course Layout
Nice course overall, 18-holes or play only 9-holes. Layout had a little of everything, nice variety.
Great customer service
Last time I played golf here I noticed I was double charged. I play this course at least once a week so I brought it to there attention today and they rectified it immediately. Love a staff who are willing to keep their customers happy. So happy I joined their men’s club today.
