Best shot of the day on the 4th hole Photo submitted by Brett4224030 on 10/04/2012
course need work
Golf now tee time prices are great. But the fee for a cart is tooooo expensive. I golf with a friend for 5 dollars each but they wanted 10 per person to ride which is beyond words. That's 200 percent of the golf fee. Plus tee boxes are really bad and the greens and the rough need work
This course is designed for people that can walk a course and play 18 holes reasonably.
Love this course. Wish it was located closer to our home. It is very well maintained. We miss the drinking water on the back nine during the winter months.
We are not very good at golfing, so we find the course challenging. We appreciate that it is walkable because we play golf for the exercise, and riding would not meet that criteria. We also appreciate that we are not forced to play as a foursome.
I tried to use the sliding evaluator above, but found it impossible to use.
We appreciate the good value provided by GolfNow. We are able to be flexible in the times we are able to play, so I search for the lowest cost at the most reasonable time.
This course is beautiful, I loved it!
This course is great if you like to play closest to the pin with your buddies. With 14 of 18 being par 3s.Its alot of fun. I will
go back!
first impressions from a newbie golfer
This is among the Sacramento area's prettiest courses that I've seen so far. Nicely maintained, though somewhat confusing to find one's way around and the course map is very small. The first nine is classic-looking golf course, shapely and well-mannered. The second nine is far more natural, woodsy and intimate. Big trees, natural water ways, creeks, loads of interesting birds. I played by myself and had fun wandering around the varied topography. I lost a lot of balls here, completely due to my bad shots...when they go in the rough here, kiss them good-bye and reload from your deep stash. There are goners. Club house is not the reason that people come here. It is an adequate shed where they check you in, call your name, and sell you a soda or bag of chips.
Great walking course!
A must to be up on your 120 yard and shorter game . Course is in pretty good shape for this time of year, greens are fair to good.
FUN, FAST 18
I come here to work on my iron play. I'll hit from either the whites or the blues, depending on the distances I want to hone. Though the course is short, each hole is surrounded by a unique set of hazards-- sand, water, brush and hills-- that make wedge play quite interesting should you miss the green from the tee. The greens are in pretty good shape, with only the large 9th green showing spottiness beyond the hole. Though this is an executive course, a handful of par 4's does allow me to stretch out with the driver periodically. An all-grass driving range compliments the experience perfectly.
Friendly staff
The staff was very friendly. Was surprised to see no refreshment cart on the course being a busy weekend.
Great for short game practice (par 58)
This course is a Par 58. Four par 4s and the rest are par 3s. 77 yard par 3s to 200 yard par 3s( white tees). Some water on the front 9, back 9 is wide open. If your time is short and the course is light, you do this course in 2 hrs.
4 par 4's and 14 par 3's. Good short game course.
Antelope Greens golf course is a good course to play for my short game, I have needed to work on my greens in regulation, and this course allows me to do just that. Greens are soft and mature, typically roll slower than other courses in the area.
Greens in poor shape
Pace of play was good. but the greens were not well maintained. Greens way too slow and bumpy.
