Great course, no rushing, beautiful day!
Course was well kept, pace of play was second to none! Nobody hitting up on us at all and we had to wait for nobody. The wildlife including hawks, squirrels, rabbits and geese was a bonus to watching. Definitely be back soon.
Slow play
The Marshalls need tto be more attentive. The pace of play was inhibitted by a rude 5 person group who were taking 20 minutes per hole. They were loud and rude not caring about players on holes close to them.
My "Home" course..
Back when I lived here, it was my home course, decades ago. The "new" ownership ( could be 4-6 years now, not sure) has done a fabulous job in keeping the course in decent shape...for a public course, it is definitely worth checking out. If you are off the fairway ...like I usually am...the rough can be somewhat tough....not sure the type of grass...but it is thickAF....( its what i get for being a 18+ handicap😔) The food is delicious and they even serve cocktails. Friendly staff all around!
Whenever I visit Bakersfield, I always try to get a round or two in. The "hot deals" thru this app is the way to go.
Best public course in town.
i will always choose this course over Riverlakes or North Kern. the price compared to the product is the best.

Great value
Course layout was great, friendly staff. Fairways rough in spots due to dry conditions, but certainly playable. Greens had been punched a week before, so bumpy, but otherwise good shape with good speed. Great value and I would recommend.
Very nice municipal course
Course is nice. The best municipal course in the area and you can get great deals from GolfNow. The greens were just recently punched but GolfNow sent an update warning me about the greens. It was fine because we paid about 50% of the normal fees. Really a great deal if you can wait for the Hot Deals.

Course is in very good shape for a muni. Greens are well taken care of considering the heat experienced this year. Nice range. Tee times are adequately spaced and play was controlled by onsite Marshall. Newer carts. For Munis in South Central CA I would say this course is at the top of the rankings.
