Kern River Golf Course

Enjoyed this course very much. Played here for the first time. I will come back again. The only thing I will say is pace of play was a bit slow due to a large group in front of us. Other than that it was great.

Beautiful course a must if you’re in the area pairs up with great company

The course has always been in great condition, bushes and trees trimmed. Fairways are cut short and can see divots being filled by staff. Putting greens are also kept up for the ball to roll smoothly. My only gripe is the pace of play, most times our group is waiting on the group in front of us who are waiting on a group in front of them.

I play here every so often. Course is in great condition, lush and green. Sand is honestly not bad either. Layout is fairly easy. Pace of play is the only ding I’d give it. It’s high school season so tournaments/practices often. Got stuck behind a tournament last week, wish I would’ve gotten a little heads up from the pro shop. Otherwise, great local course

There was a tournament going on behind us so we felt rushed but also tournament players were being rude to a child on the course even though he was under supervision. Tournament play needs to be scheduled in the morning not late afternoon when it’s busy. Most likely won’t return

I play kern river quite often its one of the best maintained courses in bakersfield if not the best the value is fair my recent trip the greens were punched but they are always upfront about it and give u a discounted price so no worries always recomend
