DeBell Golf Club in Burbank offers an 18-hole Regulation Course and a nine-hole disc golf course. The Regulation Course has a tight layout with narrow fairways and a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is the key to doing well on this golf course but it's not overly punishing. Its risk-reward holes will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The front nine is fairly challenging but the back nine is where the golf course gets tough. Although DeBell Golf Club is short, only 5,608 yards from the back tees, the blind shots and winding doglegs make it seem much longer than it is. There isn't any water on the golf course but you'll hardly miss its presence with all the other hazards that lurk throughout.

Challenging for beginners

Good course. Really casual setting. Overall it’s a good and challenging course for beginners. Tee times are too close for my liking. I felt that we had the group behind us at all times. Fees were a little high in my opinion for this caliber of course.

Pretty Course

Purple Jacaranda trees were in bloom. Course is nestled up against the mountains feeling far out of the city, which it really isn't. Some fairways are narrow and more challenging. Lots of elevation changes. Biggest complain the cart path is pretty rough.

Leave your Driver at home

This course has some of the best views in LA. I played around a few on vacation from PA and this course has great views of the City and the Mountains. The staff is very friendly and the food above the club house is amazing. This course is short as you would expect but the lay out is not conducive for driver. I found myself hitting 8 iron off the tee numerous times for placement and still found myself in trouble in places not knowing the proper distance and roll out. There are no GPS monitors on the carts and if you don't have a Golf App with course layout or a range finder you are screwed. Waste bunkers and green side bunkers are completely filled with rocks, not just pebbles but legit skip across a pond rocks. All the greens were punched and sand covered in places. You can tell they are working on stuff throughout the course and I get it but it was still not fun to play for your first time. If you played numerous times I believe it would be more fun. The views for this course are enough to justify playing a round there. I got a great deal via GOLFNOW so I didn't mind. If you like playing irons off the tee for 14 holes and are great with distancing then this is the place for you,

Dependable DeBell

I have always enjoyed my rounds at Debell. This time I was a single with another group. Staff was great. The upgraded driving range is awesome. Love it. Started with a slight wait first couple of holes but then opened up. We did have a jerk behind us drive up yelling we were behind a hole and we weren't. Course fairways were in good shape. Greens were bumpy. Good day

Finally had the opportunity to play DeBell. I have heard it compared to Woodland Hills CC a lot.

Fun, quick track. Decent conditions. Bunkers could use some work, or I should just make sure I don’t hit into them at all :).

For the money and location, it was a pleasure. Nice little driving range too.

Two thumbs up on their breakfast burrito.

Excited to play again now that I know what to expect.

Ring DeBell Golf

Course was in good condition, work was in progress on signature hole which slowed our progress, group in front of us did not signal they had left the playing field. Staff is friendly and courteous especially in clubhouse restaurant. We had a pleasant round!

Work in progress

Very slow, partly due to tournament and partly due to green aeration… was not playable so left after the first 9 holes

DeBell

Tee boxes were torn up. Lots of dog leg lefts making it challenging for a golfer like me. Short course, just difficult. It had also rained the day before so all the bunkers were flooded (but only hit one). Not a bad course, but not worth $50

Hidden Oasis

We had a great time duffing the ball around for 18. The course was in great shape and I would dock marks for bumpy fairways….if we were actually good enough to use some ball roll in our approach. The greens were in top shape and provided some challenge. The clubhouse looks new and the local couple we were paired up with couldn’t say enough about sitting up above looking out over the valley after a game.
