Bayou Oaks City Park South Course

Too much dead grass on the fairway everywhere!! Course need to invest in the blower Machine !!

Too much grass is left over from cutting . Need to invest in a blower !!

The golf course design was great. It would have been very fun to play aside from the condition of the course. I’m sure it has rained quite a bit in the area recently, but the fairways and greens were a little shaggy. There was also a lot of taller grass where it was especially wet and you could lose a ball a short distance from the fairway. Usually wouldn’t knock a course too much because of how wet it was, but we played English Turn the following day and there were no issues there with wetness.

First time playing and it was great! Grip it and rip it kind of course! Very well kept.

The south course was recommended by locals I am working with on business. Word of mouth is alive and well! Found a nice hot deal as a single. Definitely a steal for a non resident. Greens and bunkers were in good shape. The food was good. Beverage cart. Driving range. Great service. I was fooled by a lot of subtle breaks, but still managed a good score. I would love a second shot at it!
