El Prado Golf Courses - Chino Creek

About
El Prado Golf Course in Chino offers two 18-hole courses, Chino creek and Butterfield Stage. Chino Creek is the longer of the two at 6,858 yards from the back tees. It is also considered more challenging but both are player friendly enough to appeal to all skill levels. As its name would imply, the Chino Creek runs along the entire length of the golf course. You find water in several different forms throughout the course including lakes and meandering streams. The layout is spread across rolling terrain with elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Several of the holes begin from elevated tees and it's likely you'll face more than one uphill battle. Trees and bunkers also come into play but the fairways are wide and forgiving. It's not an overly difficult golf course but beginners can also try the shorter and less challenging Butterfield Stage Course.

Total Dog Track
Bald spots and dirt, poor conditions everywhere but at least the greens were punched and sanded. 🤮
If the fairways are brought up to much better conditions, Chino Creek would become one of the better courses around.
Good day and good pace
I must first praise the dtaff...I have been very crit ical of the filthy men's bath rooms.. I must highly compliment how clean they have been the last 2 weeks. For the first time since 2003, they have no stains in the unrals or toilet bowls....WELL DONE!! The parking lot is so much improved.. I am proud of the overall improvements on both courses and I look forward to playing there.
Course Needs Some Love.
Haven’t played this course (Chino Creek)for a few years. Other than the carts nothing has improved. Snack cart didn’t show until hole 15. Cart paths need to be scrapped, they are as rough as can be. Overall greens not to bad but many looked like they were spiked. Not a $75 course.
Get with the times
WORST on course restrooms ever!!! Hopefully you're a guy and can just take a leak behind a tree. These make Creste Verdes porta potties look spotless. And after 50yrs u think they could put in some cart paths. Some1 is skimming $$$ off the top here.
Overpriced
Disappointed. $75 for potholed dirt cart paths. Mud everywhere. (No, we haven’t had rain in weeks).
Greens were great. Fairways pretty good. But my kidneys took a beating on those dirt cart paths. Don’t bring a magnetic speaker or laser. It’ll fall all day.
