Diablo Creek Golf Course

Met a friend at the course after driving down from Reno, 95 degrees (so A little Warm) Course in good shape, not a lot of Hazards, had a good time, thanks

Diablo Creek is long and I have to hit a lot of fairway woods. Nothing wrong with that since that isn't so on many courses, but beware if you don't like to hit'em. I play from the whites and hit my drives about 225 yds. Course is in fairly good condition.

Overall I enjoyed the course. Fairly flat and pretty open as long as you stay out of the trees dividing the fairways. The greens were soft and speed was hard to judge at times. I definitely look forward to teeing it up again soon.

I really do like the course, it is fantastic although pretty flat. The pace of play/antics is what gets me. $38 for 18 with a cart during twilight. The group ahead of us picked up our ball after taking 45 minutes to finish 2 holes. They were so drunk one of the guys took of his shirt and jumped in 2 NASTY ponds on the course. No Marshall in sight. They left after 9 but this always seems to happen when I play here. Such a disappointment.

The course is long and fair, but always presents challenges and great scoring chances. Also a great range and practice area.

First time playing this course and I was very pleased with the condition of the course. The course was very forgiving, which is always a plus for hack like me. However, the pace was HORRIBLE. We bailed after hole 14, at which point we had all ready been on the course for close to 5 hours. Not even 1 sighting of a Marshall on the course.

According to the staff, we had no tee time confirmed. I try to present a confirmation # via email and there response was

“I don’t care what you have there. Your not in the computer. For some apparent reason golfnow and our systems haven’t been on the same page for sometime.”

When it was all said and done there were able to fit us in but not before some conflict with other parties waiting too tee off. To make matters worse...turned out to be a 6.75 hr round. Not acceptable!

Well managed golf course with very friendly staff with outstanding service!

My first time to play the course and found it to be very similar to many of the rural courses in the Midwest I grew up playing. The pace of play was good and there were some interesting holes (10 & 17) that kept things fun. Disappointed that there was no beverage cart all day and the course had good traffic. We enjoyed lunch before the round and will definitely be back with other guests as we felt it was a good value as well.

Overall the course is in great condition. Visiting the area for a few weeks and have played 11 rounds at different courses. Diablo ranked #1 or 2 of the 11 I played. I will play Diablo again next time I'm in the area. I was playing as a single so the starter paired me with a twosome who were a pleasure to play with. Best thing about golf is the people we meet. The birdie on 18 wrapped up a very enjoyable round. Thanks to Diablo grounds crew your doing a fantastic job.

I decided to play Diablo Creek on Monday. It was fantastic. The greens are in such good shape the fairways are dialed in. it was just a great day overall I will be there again soon but I just wish they would drop the regular rate I only play when it’s a hot deal on golf now. They used to serve lunch with the green fee now they’re not even doing that maybe they should look into serving lunch again with your green fee if your going to charge that amount but it’s a great course

Myself, Douggiefresh and Larry play here many times. The course is looking the best I’ve ever seen it. The greens are in fantastic shape, fairways looking real good too. The pace of play was perfect. We always have a great time when we play here.

Pace of play was fantastic but I understood that it was not normal. The greens were in very good condition but difficult to score on because of the heavy undulation on some of the greens. Fairways were in good condition. Pretty straightforward course with everything in front of you. Very windy day.
