Slow start
I booked the Mesa course at 920. There were 7-9 groups waiting to tee Off, the staff said they were a few minutes behind.(closer to an hour)! We were weighing our options and they were able to get us out on the lake course. A pretty slow front 9 but picked up on the back. The course was in very good condition and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price.
Still a beautiful golf course
I haven’t played golf in almost a year, this course is still one of my favorites 😊
Rude
The two clowns behind the counter are rude. These guys must have worked at the DMV! Maybe they'll realize theyre just order takers. Not even fit to work at Burger King. Freakin DORKS!!!!! The wait staff is great , however the Pro-shop dorks need customer service training!
Too slow
Nice course, best price in Orange County, good conditions that I play frequently but tee times are too close together and it is VERY SLOW. 3 hrs. 20 min. to play 9! NOT GOOD
Mesa Linda
Course and staff were excellent…pace of play was slow throughout.
Pace Slow for Weekday
Took 5 hours to play round. Hole 2 had 4 groups waiting at tee. Course needs to manage pace better. Don't wait until late morning to send out marshals. Keep pace moving requires continuous management. Get more to play closer tees.
Special Place
I played this course on my 42nd birthday with my wife
I’m an avid golfer, golf enthusiast and I take pride in my journey to become a scratch golfer. This course was not only beautiful but the maintenance the layout just the overhead view is gorgeous and honestly under price for it’s worth and what it brings to any golf lover.
I want to join the men’s club and make this my home course after church one round

great course in great shape, went off with a 5some... pace was slow but all golfers were so nice it made for a great day!
SLOWWWWWW
If you enjoy 6 hour rounds go play Costa Mesa, they dont marshall the speed of play, most people playing the course dont know what ready golf is.
Best value in OC
One of the best kept greens , weather always a great 70 and sunset over the water pond is amazing, well ran and was good tine .. Monday thru Friday no delays most times great experience good distance in between holes ..
Resident for 30 Years - Gets Worse Every Year
I’ve been a resident of Costa Mesa for 30 years and having been playing Lagos and Mesa Libra since that time. I only play occasionally because it’s 10 minutes from my house.
This course gets worse every single year. Overbooked, lengthy waits, and poor surfaces.
If you want to turn a golf round into a 7 hours disaster then this course if for you.
