Mesa Linda at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club

Great place. Unfortunately it rained in the middle of our game and it got backed up. But I will be coming back.

Booked tee time for 3 on a Sunday afternoon. Only thing was we teed of at 2 and it got dark before we could even finish and there's no lighting whatsoever, that I saw anyways. But overall 2 carts and 18 holes for 3 on a weekend for under $100? I'm all in

No marshal to enforce anything. 3-4 groups are waiting on the same teebox for many tees because it is so slow. We were only able to finish 12 holes. if they can somehow fix the pace of play then it may be one of good value course.

This course is a fun layout with good greens. However the management is horrible. They always over book and could care less about the players. Played on a Saturday. They had college matches on both courses. Teed off 40 mins late. Pace was so slow we left early. Starter didn’t even care. Place needs new management who won’t consistently overbook. If you play here, expect 5 hour plus rounds

Every hole there was three groups waiting. We did not get to finish. My teatime was at 1:40 didn’t tee off till 240 played eight holes. Probably the worst Mooney in Orange County when it comes to pace of play. Also, the golf carts are the worst that have ever seen. They are so old all the seats are cracked holes with exposed underlying.

The course and facilities are nice, but it took us 2.5 hours to finish 4 holes. That’s just unacceptable. We were also delayed 30 min from teeing off due to the back up. Either space out your tee times more, or manage course play.

Fun, long course in beautiful Costa Mesa. Weekends pretty busy so plan on a long round. Once you except this the more you'll love this course.

Did not tee off until 20 minutes past tee time. 3 college teams practicing in front of our foursome. The teams practiced numerous shots many times. The marshal did nothing to speed them up. I had to quit after 9 holes that took 3 hours! I could take naps in between shots. Thanks Costa Mesa for ruining a golf day!

20-30 mins wait between each hole. Does not matter how s@@&$ the wait and conditions. Played 4 holes in 90 mins. Was another 15 mins before tee off.

Good golf course staff very friendly practice area chipping putting range really good

courses great condition drains really well after the rains but terrible pace of play. We teed off at 10 am It took us 45 minutes to play two holes. We ended up stopping after five hours and we were on the 16th tee box.

GOLF would be a more enjoyable experience. If we just played faster they need to encourage players to play ready golf.

Course & Greens in great condition, considering all the rain we just had. Pace of play to slow, took 5 hours to play on a Monday, played 18th hole in the dark. Need to space out the tee times! Starter, Marshall, Club House Staff were all great.

The rain does not run off well in the fairways. Pace of play was a 5 hour round. Tee off time was 7:40 am

Though we just had a record rain fall last few days, the course was open and our foursome of two couples were very happy to play. There were not many people on the course so pace was not an issue. The course was wet with many shallow puddles but we were able to walk and other couple drove a cart using cart path only.
