Slowest round ever
Over 5 hr round and didn’t even finish, marshals nowhere in sight after stopping in and saying something in the pro shop. Guy working the desk says “we’ll are they behind?” After 9 holes in 3 hrs?! Course isn’t in bad shape for late in the season but staff are useless.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Great Course
Costa Mesa is my home course and I can NOT get enough of it! It is in great shape and the staff is incredible! I play or hit balls here once or twice a week. I will continue to play here the rest of my life! Can’t wait to get back out there next week!

It was cool while playing, though excessive heat warning in the town
Temprature was high, but a light breeze came off the sea. The course was well-maintained, even though hot weather in OC nowadays.

Nice first time reconnecting with golf
Great course to play with a chance to meet nice people at a nice location in Costa Mesa, played twilight hours, starting at 16:30, first nine smooth and fast, despite the hot weather, back nine I got stuck behind a couple of foursomes but made it through the 18th, for a first time here, it was a good experience, affordable prices and good course to re-connect with golf.

Double booked and long wait
I have experienced more than once with this place double booked for the same time that I have, And every time, we have to play after the men (we are group of 4 girls), The Marshall told us to play silver and did not say anything to the group of men before us when they play blue, and they were not good at all, they took so long and hitting 2, 3 shots at tee off,. We don’t see any marshall around to check on the pace of players, it took us more than 5 and 1/2 hours to finish.

Solid course
Friendly course layout that provides some challenge without being punishing. Fairways are open and in good condition. Greens were excellent.
