Desert Dunes Golf Course

Could be a cool track but the wind is an issue. Read the reviews but decided to go anyway cause Palm Springs courses have gotten so expensive. Won’t be going back. Winds were insane.

We paid $140 for two golfers and the course was not worth the price. Then, on the 14th hole, our cart died and it took 30 minutes for someone to "rescue" us. We will not be back.

First time playing here. Very nice track. Greens were a little slow but true. Went out early in a threesome so played fast in 3.5hrs. Strong winds were a bit of an issue. Would love to play it on a calm day. Good value.

Not worth the money AT ALL.. after being greeted at the pro shop with a great smile and very polite gentleman I wasn’t greeted at all by the “cart guy” which just asked “what do you need” instead of a good morning or hello. When asked what my last name was I told him,, he then said “what!!” With a look of bothersome like I was interrupting his cheerful morning. Honestly one of the rudest , classless person I’ve ever encountered at a course. After playing about 5 holes which were very, very rough as far as maintenance. The wind began to become overwhelming literally knocking your balk down and even backwards most the time. The course has nothing to do or cannot control weather or Mother Nature but what they can control is the quality and overall up-keeping of their course. Just very poor conditions for that price. Very disappointed after paying almost $100 to play at a course in a highly renowned place and so many other courses around.

It was an adventure to say the last. The wind was so high that maybe the course should have been closed. Except I had paid I would have cancelled.

Course is not in the best of conditions and makes me wonder if they have anyone on the course.

Greens , while fast look like they are desperate need of a greens doctor.

Pace of play was excellent because there was only a few brave souls out there.

Greens were a mixture of grasses, bumpy, and impossible to read. Important to hit tight fairwaysy off tees. Not worth price in.my opinion.

nobody playing so looked for balls, found 50 while we played, try to play when wind not a concern

staff ok not over friendly,,course ok condition

Course layout was great. Pace of play great. Staff was friendly. Fairways were very rough, no sand in sand traps and the greens looked as if they had grass disease. So much potential if those three things were addressed

Golfed this course many times this winter well worth it the staff in the clubhouse are great the gentleman issuing the carts could use a smile and better people skills but other than that I will be back next year.

There was about a 25-30 mph wind the entire round but I simply laughed and got on with the game. Played with two ladies that were good and fast, the latter being most important to me regardless of sex. We shared each others misery battling the wind but it became a joint venture to scrape out our pars.

The course was in great shape and the greens were fair and challenging.

Will return but hopefully on a less blustery day

It is normally windy at the course. I had to quit after nine holes because of the wind.

Booked a hot deal over a week in advance. Did not know the weather forecast that far out. Turned out to be a high wind day. I know GN won’t refund, so had to play or be out the $. I like the layout of the course. It’s a challenge for sure. I’m amazed that the maintenance staff is able to keep the course up with all of the wind. Do you really expect sand to stay in the traps? Greens were rolling well but unable to tell how true they are due to the wind. Fairways and tee boxes were decent. Played in under three hours! Will definitely be back but won’t book beyond two days out.

Played the course a few times over the years. Was reasonably priced and ttime availability was good. But last time was 4-5 yrs ago. It has really gone down hill. Would not play it again

Albeit our first time to this track you can tell at some previous point of time the course was truly magical.
