Good quality City-owned course
Chastain is plenty challenging for any level golfer. Greens can be tricky.

Great course but no driving range.
Overall the course was in great shape and the pace of play was not too bad. It was backed up at the first hole but it spread out fairly quickly.
I did not realize that there was not a driving range. Clubhouse was great. The carts were in excellent shape.

Pretty good shape, great championship layout, very challenging
Have played this course for 30 years and it is in very good shape now. The greens are in very good shape with Champions Brermuda greens. One of the truly great championship layouts in the state and surely in the city. This course with the right money spent on it could be one of the best courses in the City -private or public. Play can sometimes be slow - lots of players come that would be better off at easier courses.
