Emerald Lakes Golf Course

Very nice course especially if you’re not going to play the full 18. You get to use the big stick as well as your irons. Greens were in great condition.

Surprising well kept. Customers appear aware of it's value and treat the course with respect. Service is great. Play is challenging. Everything I like in a day of golf. 🏌️

I play this course often you will definitely get a lot of beginners out here which can affect the pace of play but if you know that going in it won’t ruin your day

Wonderful course, see other review. HOWEVER, the driving range mats are in extremely poor condition. The mats are worn so badly in the ball hitting areas that they are good practice for hitting out of a divot.

This is a wonderful 9 hole course because of design, and especially the maintenance. I continue to be impressed that the course is well maintained year round. The greens generally are fast and the designer created a few of the greens with a steep scores which can be a challenge to hold for even lower index players - fun for all skill levels. The course can get slow because of beginners. However, this is a very good course for beginners so be patient and let them have fun learning this fantastic games.

I enjoyed playing Emerald Ranch very much. Not very hard, but not extremely easy. Saw the course from Hwy 99 and thought it looked nice. It didn’t disappoint. Pace of play was around 2 hours with a 5 year old playing in our group.

Although I hesitate to rave about this course due to the number of slow golfers who do not inerstand the concept of repairing ball marks on the geeen, I can’t help but extoll the many virtues of this gem. Learn the rules of golf, practice on the range and if you are not good at least play quickly.

The pro shop staff were helpful and pleasant. Course was in better condition than I thought. There are plenty of distractions. Freeway truckers love to honk on backswings. There is a regular freight train on the other side. My game is pretty lousy, so while the noise is annoying, it didn’t impact my game.

The most frustrating thing is that twosome behind us where only playing the second half of the longer holes. This resulted in them walking right up to us and hitting their initial shots extremely close to us. We couldn’t play faster because of another group. The most frustrating part is the instructor that actually played a couple holes with them and didn’t correct the poor behavior.

I play this course often and it is almost always in good condition. Greens are fast and true, fairways and rough are well groomed and all bunkers and hazards are good.

This is a very short course, that manages to stay challenging with narrow fairways, and lots of water. The course itself is in pristine condition, and the greens are some of the best ive played for a public course.

This course is a Northern California Gem. They have several driver bays with mats and grass. Putting, chipping and pitching areas. Now onto the emerald holes. Tee boxes are above par. Fairways are generous as long as you don't try to max out you driver or fairway woods. Greens are lightning fast (felt like 11 to 13 on the stimp). Hard to 1 putt at this course (I usually get 4 to 7 (1) putts at most Northern California courses). Water on 7 of the 9 holes. Know your carry number to stay out of trouble !!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. This facility is so special - it has 5 teaching pros on staff !!! Need a liquor license to sell adult beverages for additional enjoyment. Will recommend this place and will be back !
