Best Deal in Sac area
I love this course, I play all over northern Cali and for the price for what you get, Emmy is my go too
Bunkers are perfect ( ask me how I know lol )

Conditions Great
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all in great shape. I will not go to a course if I know the greens to be in poor shape. The value is unbelievable as I paid $12.00 with Golf Now for 9 holes. This is not an easy Par 33 course. There are some 105-yard par 3s and some 180+ yard par 3s. The par 5 is long and narrow with trees, OB, and water and sand beckoning your ball.

Greens!!
I really like this local 9 hole. The course was in great shape. The greens were much quicker than previous rounds but were soft enough for approach shots. Thank you greens keepers and fellow golfers for repairing ball marks.

Fast greens
The greens were in excellent shape, rolling faster than I remember them. The practice putting green was the same, allowing a realistic preview of the course. Fairways and tee boxes were also surprisingly good for late summer conditions.

The pace of Play was very bad. There were three groups including mine that were waiting for almost 15’ before the last of the three group Tee’d off. I think it was overbooked.

Short but tricky
Very pretty course with a lot of water and FAST greens. A couple of short and easy “birdie holes” but this course overall plays harder than it looks.

the course is in great shape
This course is very well kept. Greens were fast and true as were the fairways. Easy course to walk and get some stick time!

Great course
Very nice course especially if you’re not going to play the full 18. You get to use the big stick as well as your irons. Greens were in great condition.

Surprising well kept. Customers appear aware of it's value and treat the course with respect. Service is great. Play is challenging. Everything I like in a day of golf. 🏌️

I play this course often you will definitely get a lot of beginners out here which can affect the pace of play but if you know that going in it won’t ruin your day

Mats are far overdue to be replaced
Wonderful course, see other review. HOWEVER, the driving range mats are in extremely poor condition. The mats are worn so badly in the ball hitting areas that they are good practice for hitting out of a divot.

Best 9 holes course in the Sac area
This is a wonderful 9 hole course because of design, and especially the maintenance. I continue to be impressed that the course is well maintained year round. The greens generally are fast and the designer created a few of the greens with a steep scores which can be a challenge to hold for even lower index players - fun for all skill levels. The course can get slow because of beginners. However, this is a very good course for beginners so be patient and let them have fun learning this fantastic games.

Very nice par 33 course
I enjoyed playing Emerald Ranch very much. Not very hard, but not extremely easy. Saw the course from Hwy 99 and thought it looked nice. It didn’t disappoint. Pace of play was around 2 hours with a 5 year old playing in our group.
