Emerald Lakes was a victim of a flood in 2016 but quickly recovered and was in great shape for 2017 Photo submitted by u000003849698 on 03/29/2018
What a great course. A few Holes for the Driver and a few to make sure your Iron game is tested. Would recommend to anyone for a play

Fine Nine
Walkable course that has been improved significantly over the past few years. New management commitment to quality course is evident and higher public attendance is the result. Well managed and conveniently close for Elk Grove residents.

EXCELLENT GREENS
Greens are of the highest quality anywhere, very fast and pure. Layout is good and very walkable and the price is great. Will be back for sure

SEVEN STAR review.
This gem of a 9 hole executive course deserves a 7 star review today. Perfect weather in the low 60’s , clear blue sky, well manicured greens and the fairways. Super friendly and courteous pro shop staff made a day great for us. He is courteous and has efficiency in the player/pace management by letting us start 20 minutes earlier than our tee time. There are some places where the staff just insist the players wait until the designated starting time, even if there’s absolutely no players in sight on the course for only 5-10 minutes early.
Sand bunkers had enough sand even after the severe rain and storm the last several weeks and the greens are very clean and fast enough. The only thing that might matter is the portable washroom that has been in need of improvement. Tree management in the fairways was well done. The ponds and lakes can use a little more cleaning. Same with some refreshment facility.
I still think this course has a lot of potential to make it a 18 hole championship course. There is enough land space there. Thanks for keeping the coin an excellent condition and thanks to GolfNow for making this course known to the public.

Fantastic day for a practice 9 hole round and still a good workout day.
Beautiful winter day for a round of golf in the mid-50’s weather. Lots of sunshine and clean course. Greens and fairways are well maintained and the water fountains shooting up toward the sky. I wish the course was a 18-hole championship course. There’s enough land for that. They built a multi million dollar casino right along the freeway. Why not a nice and healthy sports complex? Elk Grove city is losing a good revenue generating opportunity. I wish I were not 85 but 75 years old so that I can participate in the city planning. Well, thanks Emerald Lake golf for keeping the golf course great and kudos to GolfNow.

This is one of the best 9 holes I’ve ever played. Well maintained. Lots of water. Accurate off the tee is a must. Greens are challenging. They’re fast and multi-tiered. Great value.

Excellent 9 hole course
Emerald Lakes is a fun and somewhat challenging course. Pace of play can be slow on the weekends. This is a Parks and Rec community course so there can be a lot of beginners.
