Excellent Value for the money
Challenging layout for 9 hole course. Greens are in excellent condition and roll fast and true. Sand traps have new sand, fairways in great shape as well.
The only negative is play can get slow after 8am because high handicappers have trouble with the water and longer holes.
Play early and enjoy the best golf value in the Sacramento area.

Best 9 hole in all of the area hands down no question! Awesome people at the shop and the groundskeeper does an outstanding job with the place. Could not ask for more.

Great little track
I’ve been very impressed the last two times I’ve Play there The course is in really great shape the greens the fairways the bunkers. Great job to the superintendent.

Great condition
Short course was in great condition. I will take my young son there to teach him the game. Short course but has nice little holes.

Nice, but too pricey for what it is
First, I really wish the course let juniors play for free like the city courses in Sacramento do, which is a reason I don’t play this course more often. If they changed their policy on this I would play the course more frequently for sure.
Second, it’s a really nice course. It’s in great shape and is a fun, challenging course, but for a nine hole course, the rates could/ should be lower.
Third, the pace of play is usually pretty awful because of how backed up they get, which is the case most of the time.

Well maintained, nice 9 hole track
Played here twice in the last month. Quick and true greens. Short yardage practice for fairway woods and short irons. Water comes into play on multiple holes so plan your shots well. First time out the marshall was unnecessarily rude in an instance where traffic was already slow. Work on your people skills, buddy. Overall this is a fun course and better kept than many of the other public courses in the area. I'll definitely come back.

Elevated Greens and water
Emerald Lakes stands out for the number of elevated greens and water everywhere. The course is maintained very well and works nicely for the landscape. Accuracy is a must or bring a bag of balls to play a round. Patience is required at times as there are often new players ahead and they have to work their way to the cup. Walkable course though many choose to ride.

Nice Value
Deceptively difficult course. Lots of water. 2 long par threes and a narrow par 5. The ninth hole is tricky. Probably the best greens to putt on in the area, though they can be very slippery if you're not careful. The big negative is that the fairways are in mediocre shape. Very thin lies.
