Encino at Sepulveda Golf Complex

I’m not sure if I would recomendé it to a friend. Space time is not good. The fairways side needs to be trim up, grass is to thick, hard to find balls.. staff needs to be more friendly.

If you go in for a round of golf between 10am-12pm you will be walking. That is a guarantee. My group was told that we could not have carts to ride in at 11:40. I asked if we could wait a 5-10 minutes until one is ready and I was rudely told "its not possible, the carts need two hours to charge". As we started to tee off on the second hole approximately 10 minutes later people were receiving carts to ride in. Further more due to the group behind us having carts and us walking we constantly had people waiting for us to finish, making us feel rushed.

Not narrow - you won’t spend all day looking for balls, which is nice. The course does have some length to it so you still need to strike it well. Greens are a bit spongy and longer than usual right now, maybe short on maintenance staff due to the pandemic. Overall good course, usually play in around 4 to 4.5 hrs.

For the price and convenience, really can't beat Encino/Balboa golf course. For an L.A. muni course, great shape, pace of play is solid, and staff is friendly. Highly recommend.

It was 106 degrees and they would not allow people to take carts out in the 10am-12pm slot.

They told us there would be stations out on the course where we could get drinks as we walked around, but their were not.

One of the members in our group almost passed out due to the heat and when we tried to call the office to see if someone could bring some waters to us the phone just rang out.

The actual course is good, but the experience was terrible.

Gold cart died on the back nine and all they had to offer was a free bucket of range balls. Service was below mediocre. Play at your own risk.

As munis go its a good one, tips make all the 3pars challenging , couple monster 4 pars on the course too, definitely worth 30 bucks, greens city course slow, And zero break., you can go low here

There’s a driving range, and most of the holes play pretty wide open with not many OB or water hazards opportunities.

Staff was nice and the food wasn’t bad either.

Love this course. It’s just good municipal golf but it’s really good good municipal golf. Great day and round.

Long and open, no water. Easy for beginners or those getting back into the game as I am. First time playing in over two years, shot a 91
