Good Weekend Course
I had a nice weekend playing in that course. Phase of play is fine no rush and finished 18 holes 4.2 hrs.
Blechhh
Just completely below average everything. The course conditions are just abysmal. The rough is the same grass I mowed in my yard last week. If you are driving a cart, watch out for the monster dips midway through the fairways. Was hoping to find a nice quality course in the valley. Safe to say I did not and I won't be back. Sticking with the IE for the nicest public courses in LA. Oak Quarry, Sierra Lakes, Tustin. Same price, 1000x the quality.
This course has long wide features
Course had a lot of par 4 & 5's which was great practice.
Enjoyable Round of Golf
The course is plenty long and plenty of space to hit it long.
Good practice facility and restaurant. Driving range and two large putting greens.
Greens in great condition. Fairways alittle rough but no problems. Several flooded areas inspite of drought conditions.
Flat and open fairways
Good for under $30 on Friday. plus you can some birdies and pars .
Loved It!!!
Amazing course conditions. Very friendly staff. Beautiful wide open course that is as forgiving as you can ask. And the food service was incredible. Best breakfast sandwich I've every consumed.
Excellent Greens
Course was moving fairly well, we played as a foursome in four hours. Greens were in excellent condition. fairways were terrible, sparse and tufts of dirt everywhere, you couldn't count on a good lie in the fairway. Weather was excellent, very good round in all.
Disappointing
this course had good greens but horrible fairways. See my review of sister course - Bal Boa. Poor value and not to be repeated.
Really can't understand why there is such a great difference between two courses which are owned by the same people, directly beside each other.
Course needs bill Murray
The golf corse had too many gofer holes in the rough areas . If you hit into the rough just off the fairway you could have difficulty finding your ball . Which would increase time on the hole. With the gofer holes it gives you a poor stance also . Other than that it was great . I'll just have to learn to hit the ball in the fairway. Lol
etiquette shortcoming
There is nothing wrong with the course but something is not right with the staff! We arrive just on time for our tee off and the good registry person treated us like school children reminding us of our "tardiness" without knowing, considering and asking that I just drove from LAX to get there! to make matter worse, he has my name on the list and I had my ID and credit card but he asked for the confirmation number and I have it on my Iphone. He knew we were the tee offers but he demanded for the CN! I have to open my Iphone for further delay considering he was ranting on the complained on our being on time! That was poor judgement, hindsight, stupid and inconsiderate attitude.
Golfnow follow that up!
Nevertheless, the course is OK and I like it and I hope there will be no barring hitch next time.
Painfully Slow Pace Of Play. DO NOT PLAY ON WEEKEND
Tee time was booked on golfnow for 1224PM. We didn't tee off until 1PM. Starter had stacked foursomes all morning long, lots of walkers. Needed to wait a long time before each shot. On pace for 6 hour round, forced to stop after hole 15 due to daylight. One of my worst ever golf experiences.
Avoid this course on weekends if possible.

I understand this is the second week The Sepulveda Complex is being offered on Golfnow.com. Easy access from the 101 freeway and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Fairways were in good shape but had some GUR areas, The green speed was medium and a bit bumpy. Pace of play was a bit slow and had to wait on several of the par 3s. Good value if you use a Hot Deal.
good confidence builder
easy, good condition, great municipal. Not a lot of places to get into trouble.
