About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

Summer time
Course is in great shape. Lots of grass and the greens have been well groomed.
Getting better
I do really enjoy playing this course, it’s right up the road and easy to get to. The course is coming together. The greens were in better shape than I’ve seen them in awhile. Be back soon to see how well they are being taken care of.
Best shape ever
I’ll list the con first- there was a club tournament being held today and they took tee times before it was finished. My twosome didn’t show or started early and I was stuck between foursomes from #5 to #16. No reason to sell tee times before a shotgun tournament was through.
Now for the positive. The course is in the best shape I’ve ever seen. The tees have good grass, the rough is up and consistent and the greens are really smooth. Even the traps, which are a problem at most courses around here, are tended. I was told my last trip here that there was a new owner.
Keep it up!
Strange Reception
Booked my time on golf now for two and it gave me option to invite others. I did and we showed up with four. When we.arrived I got a light scolding and they acted like my guests would not be able to play. They said I should have called instead of just inviting and bringing others. Guess the app should not suggest inviting guests for this course. After I humbly apologized for bringing more customers they treated us well. Nice course for the money. Overall condition of course is well maintained. Great deal.
lucky
I didn't check the weather before booking and found out there was a 70% chance of rain. To our surprise we got the round in. The greens were slow I"m sure due to the rain. The overall course was in good shape and all that played with me were satisfied and enjoyed the course
Courses in good shape they are doing a lot of work around the Fairway the greens are in good shape roll true
Summer golf
Very friendly staff and the course condition continues to improve. Rain the night before seemed to have hampered a little of the grounds work. Very popular course that I enjoy playing as well. Will be back again. Only thing that would make it better is for my game to be better, but that's not the fault of the course! LOL....
Golf
Course offers good opportunity to play at various levels of difficulty by providing multiple tees. Layout is rolling with a country setting. Enjoy nature and play 18! Staff friendly and very courteous. For a Saturday, pace of play was good. Will play again soon.
Looking better still
Have played here 6-7 times in last few weeks. They are sinking $$$ into the course and it shows. By fall this course should be phenomenal. Staff is awesome.
Beautiful Golf Course
Black Creek is a wonderful test of golf. The course is well maintained. The abundant rain of late has caused bunkers to suffer but crew Works diligently to upgrade sand traps. Kudos to everyone at Blackcreek. You will not find a better golf value and experience in the low country.
Getting better by the day
Nice return after the flooding of last month. The course is really doing great things to improve. I saw several groups of workers putting drains into bunkers, trees have been cut to allow sun to grow more grass and the bathrooms on each nine are remodeled.
Except for the 30 minute drive from Savannah area, there’s no reason not to play Black Creek.
