Nice course. Will play again.
The course is nice and in good condition. The rough is absolutely brutal, as it's well watered and quite thick. You can actually lose a ball in the rough, just off the fairway. The greens are a bit slow, but in good condition.

Course was freshly mowed, barely anyone out, perfect day out golfing. This course is fun, challenging, and best views around. Greens looked good, but a tad on the slow side. Would recommend if you haven't been
Very fun course
My first time playing Alta Sierra. I thought the layout was great and the course conditions were excellent. My only real complaint was the slow pace of play. The value for my money was excellent. Of course and it’s beautiful setting will definitely get me back again.

The course is in great shape and the pace of play was decent.
The two things that need improvement are the rough length & green speeds. The grass in the rough wasn’t just thick it was pretty deep. On several occasions your shoes would disappear in the grass.
The greens were also very slow. I usually wouldn’t mind slow greens but these almost felt sticky and the balls wasn’t rolling well. Not because they are bumpy greens but because the grass was so long.
Cool design, terrible maintenance
I can’t believe this place is a semi-private club. Every green was a different speed. The Marshal refused to encourage pace of play. Lot of seniors struggling to find their ball. Most tee boxes were barren and bunkers need new sand. If you aren’t in the fairway, you’re likely in hard pack red clay or pure weeds. The fairways are either rock hard or soggy. The driving range maxes at 200 yards on mats with 15 year old cracked balls. The layout could make for a great course but it needs new ownership
First but not last
I’ll definitely be back. Beautiful course with plenty of amazing home and awesome scenery. The geese were plentiful but didn’t interrupt our game. I plan to check our their food next time.

Very nice course. We enjoyed the layout. Approachable and fair all around play. We will be back!
Exercise day
Like this course, good pace of play. Unfortunately it was cart path only, and I’m not fully sure why?
Fairways seams to be dry and solid.
Before booking next time, I’ll be sure and do some checking first.
Great track!
Love AS, but the greens had been punched recently so slow and bumpy. Rest of course was in good shape except for a few tee boxes.
