Don't seem to like Golf Now.
Made a 1200 pm Wednsday starting time with my Golf Pass.
After reading a review comment about lack of golf carts I called the day before to insure availability.
I was lectured by lady on the phone that we could not start at noon as Wed morning was members day and their shot gun start would not be complete until 1230 pm
They are not very welcoming.
13.00 is high for 1/2 cart rate for 9 holes. But the golf carts are high quality and new. Course condition for march at 2000 ft elev was as it should be expected.
Greens are challenging, fast and small believe the break you read its there.
EXPENSIVE & terrible condition and layout
I played this course because i got a great deal from Golf now, paying $10.. each for two players and a $5.00 booking fee. Then we got there... My mom needed a cart and convinced me to ride with her, so I left my walking cart at home. They charge:
$20.00 green fee & $13.00 per rider in a cart
* It cost $26.00 for a cart and I paid $25.00 to play. Without the Gold Now deal... The 9 hole round for two of us would have cost $66.00... That is CRAZY expensive for nine holes as it is, but then there is the course.
The course is in horrible condition, dry as can be in most places and then damp and thick grass in others... completely uncared for (do they mow the fairways?). The one positive thing I will say is the green are actually ok compared to the rest of the course.
DO NOT play here!
challenging 9 holer
First time playing this course. Surprised at how much slope it had. And walking was a good exercise. No hole was actually flat. Either down hill shots or elevated greens. I will return for another shot at it. And I am not a fan of 9 holers.
Maybe summer time.
This course is pretty rough for winter play. The greens were very hard, snd very fast. Iron shots center of the greens were rolling off, and pin placement on some holes made the course near unplayable. I believe the 4th hole par 4 the flag was in the front of three green down hill, I chipped within 8' to check up, after in stopped it rolled pass the hole and 30' below the hole. The course needs work, and I saw two vehicles get hit with stray balls so park at your own risk like the signs say. The staff was nice, and other than the greens the course was nice
Solved
First time at this course, had an issue where my res wasn't in the computer so paid at the pro shop, golf now was really helpful and spent a couple mins on the chat function and was refunded, other than that it's a really nice course, will be back for sure
why i wasn't happy
yes the price was great to play but wait BIG , BUT ,,, ok now MY neighbor wanted to go play golf ok my treat ten bucks each . heck of a deal . yes I saw that the price was for walking so I know that Rob was injured in a parachute jump ,when he was in the army and it would be better for him to get a cart.... ok I'll get a cart now at the course they had some lame---a.. excuse why they can't guarantee a cart "don't know if one is available" ok fine "is one available ??? " yes we have plenty ok that will be twenty dollars" "FOR the cart???" yes ten bucks each " 10 + 10+20=$40 so the good deal wasn't
Your average 9 hole
Title says it all. Nothing great or bad about the course. Overall well maintained. Fair ways are pretty wide open and course is straight forward. The inclines and declines do make for a couple challenging holes. Including a blind par3 and the final hole is a challenging downhill sloping off to the right into the trees (STAY TO THE LEFT) had a good time playing and at $15 for 9holes and $30 for 18 I’d go back for a casual round.
NC upgrade
One amenity this course could add would be a refreshment cart. It could be parked up by the restroom on hole 5. Cold drinks and sandwiches could be served easily.
Awesome 9 holer
First time playing here, really enjoyed it. Beautiful course fir a small muni, but at $11 for a round (bought online), this place is really worth it. Will come back a lot.
Nice warm up course
As a 9 hole course, it plays nicely. Long enough to help sharpen you iron play while able to use the driver off the box. Enjoy the course for what it has to offer. Greens a bit on the slow side but well maintained along with the fairways.
No cart, although the booking stated
Although, when we booked, it stated that it included a cart. When we arrived, we were informed that carts were not given after 3:00 or 3:30 (our booking was for 4:00). It would have been so much better to know this ahead of time so that we could have taken our own carts that work so much better walking this course. Please correct this on the site.
Perfect conditions... I was virtually the only one on the course!
I love 9 holes... I get bored playing 18. Today it took an hour and 15 minutes to play 9 holes!
This is my home!
Great little 9-hole muni
The fairways were in excellent condition considering the winter we are having. There was some rough stuff towards some of the green edges. Pin placement was really good for the day.
If you hit the duck house, I beat you to it with a super hard shank off of #7.
Don't expect much as far as immentities go, but for the 12 bux, it was a fantastic day!!!
