Worth the drive, amazing course
It's tighter than we are used to, and course management is a must here. Shot placement absolutely trumps the long drive on this course. The greens were outstanding and rolled moderately quick. Every member of the staff was very friendly! We will absolutely be back many times. We absolutely loved playing here.
Great Course
I loved this GC, staff is friendly, carts worked great and I saw more deer playing one round than I did in a week hunting. Looking forward to next time
Excellent course
Very nice course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in great shape. Pretty tight course. Lots of nice trees. The only downside I found was the carts had to be parked quite a ways from each green. A bit of a walk when it was 98°. Had a great time scored well
Rarefied air!!
PML is definitely a hidden gem! From the scenic drive to Groveland to the well manicured golf course and challenging layout. Do yourself a favor and make the trip, you won’t be disappointed!!
PML

Great Mountain course
The greatest asset is the friendliness of the staff. Greens were in the best shape I have ever seen.
A little Gem
Pine Mountain is a really fun course to play. The staff is excellent and course maintained very well!
Outstanding!
To open this review, Pine Mountain Lake one of my top 5 favorite places to play. I find this course to be fun, challenging, and in an absolutely gorgeous setting. I always find Pine Mountain's conditions to be terrific, and even with the recent punching and a little sand still on the greens, it is in better playing shape than most of the courses in this area. The recent rains (snows!) have made the course lush and green with few, if any, troublesome wet areas. I have always found the employees at Pine Mountain to be courteous, helpful, and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I feel that golf courses only have two things to offer...great golf and great customer service. Pine Mountain has both of these. I simply can't wait to get back "up the mountain" and play this course again. It is no surprise that they recently won an award from Golf Pass as one of the best courses in the U.S. It is well-deserved. So, if you want a wonderful day of golf with all the "extras", make the trip to historic Groveland, and play Pine Mountain Lake
Great course with great views
Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course is a must play if you are in the sierra foothills. The layout and course conditions are as good as any. The views are spectacular especially on the 1st hole. The mountain background frames a nice shot to the middle of the fairway. But the best part of the experience is the friendliness of the staff. This is one of the best groups in the area. They make every golfer feel welcome. Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course is a favorite.
