BridgeMill Athletic Club
About
Bridgemill Athletic Club in Canton has a varied landscape that provides an interesting mix of holes ranging from flat and wide open to undulating and tree-lined. The layout isn't characterized by a specific feature but instead lets the lush, rolling terrain remain the focus. The well balanced golf course features numerous sand bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The distinct 16th hole with its island green is known throughout Atlanta. This par 3 appears intimidating but it is more playable than it looks. Players of all skill levels stand a good shot at reaching the green. In addition to the golf course, Bridgemill Athletic Club offers a driving range and short game area as well as 25 tennis courts and a two-acre aquatic center.

A little above avg.
Greens were punched and bumpy, would have been nice to know before spending $105.
Great Course - Aerated Greens
Love this course! Used every club in the bag. Unfortunately the greens had been recently aerated so putting was not very accurate. Very friendly staff. Well done BridgeMill.
Can't wait for the fairways to green up and the greens get filled in.
Never told us they punched the greens
We've played here countless times & love the layout. We reluctantly overpaid for this course (its not typically $90+ on a weekday). To make matters worse, we weren't told that they recently punched the greens when we reserved it OR when we got to the course & paid for the round. The greens were an absolute joke. Even 1 foot putts would bounce around due to the lackluster aeration job. We asked the young kid working the counter in the pro shop afterwards if they could take $ off the round due to the greens & he said they only do so within a week of aeration. I asked if he[s putted on the greens & he said no.
If you play here in early spring, call the pro shop in advance to ask about the greens since they do a crappy job of it & won't come down on their price.
Fun and challenging course
Everybody complaining about the course conditions either know nothing about grass, or they’re mad cause they suck and shot a 120 and want to blame it on something other than themselves. Its WINTER, grass is dormant and does not grow to fill in rough spots. Anyways, course was in good shape for the winter! Greens were fast and firm but still held your approach shots just fine. Definitely a shot placement course on a lot of the par 4s, so it can definitely challenge players with poor accuracy control. It was the first warm Sunday in quite some time so it was packed, pace wasn’t terrible but the group in front of us should have been told by the Marshall to pick it up, that’s my only complaint. Otherwise it’s a good course, winter prices should be a little lower though.
$100!for what
Craters all over the grains and the tea boxes were crap
Winter Round
I would have thought a NOV round of golf would be discounted a little more playing at almost 1:00 and barely finishing before dark. Course was in good shape. Tee boxes a little hairy. Greens punched not too long ago, balls jumping still. Overall fun but for the price, I expected a little more.
Not worth the money
The course was just average. Not near worth the $100 we paid
No food
Cart girl had nothing as far as food
Upon finishing 9, the concession stand was closed at 3:pm on a Sunday. The parking lot was full, we all paid $105, and there was no food available for us
Poor design
I’m a 6 handicap and have played for over 40 years all over the world. This course is one of the most overrated designs (for the money @ $100) that I have played. Very poor course design with ridiculously narrow landing areas. Some holes nearly impossible to keep it in play. Conditions were overall poor. Skip this one for sure I will never come back.
Poor value
GN quoted $62 and they charged us $90 in the pro shop. Greens were bumpy and had divots all over the place. Some tee boxes were bare. Fairways were pretty decent though. I live close by and have played here several times but will be driving to other courses after this poor value experience.
