Indian Palms Golf & Country Club - Royal/Indian

THE CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE AND THE RISING COST OF GREEN FEES IN THE COACHELLA VALLEY MAKE IT ALMOST PROHIBITIVE FOR CANADIANS ON A MODEST BUDGET TO PLAY GOLF HERE. THIS COURSE IS DECENT AND THERE IS GOOD VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY.

Course in poor shape and cart lacked power and needed to be replaced after 9 holes for the 2nd time in a week.

We had a 6:57 AM tee time with no one on the course in front or behind. The sunrise made for some challenges on the first two holes. The greens are fast this time of day! We plan to reschedule soon to improve our scores via increased familiarity with the terrain. I was disappointed that my SkyCaddie range finder could not locate the course to give me accurate distances on the fairways.

1st off, booked thru GolfNow got to course, paid and then waited at first tee. Sitting there past our tee time then the starter comes along and says he doesn’t have us down for a tee time, he did his best and fit us in starting on the back nine between 3 or 4 groups of threesomes

Terribly slow play with the group ahead of us driving all over to find their balls

Once we got to the back nine (the original front nine for us) we thought this should go faster, but a threesome teed off ahead of us and again we were waiting on every shot

Lost interest in the game

As far as the course greens were bare and the fairways looked like someone had taken thousands of divots and they never grew back

This course has definitely went down hill from previous years play on it, used to enjoy this course

The course is getting better. The limited staff is working very hard to give golfers a good course and enjoyable opportunity.

Carts are several years old and should be replaced. If you are lucky you will have a cart that will last your round. Some golfers are waiting for cart and are late in getting out past their reserved tee time. Be Prepared to wait!

Greens are currently in poor shape, as is mine wing. There are tight holes on front nine(Royal). Requires some target golf

Nice $25-35 track anything more is ridiculous for the condition ( or rather lack of ) it is in

1 hour delay

We would have to start at 2 pm or latter due to backlog so we opted to go home

Course in poor condition after over seeding. Playing partner's cart quit on the 2nd hole and my cart was chugging until I replaced it at the turn. Carts are in bad shape!

The course is not as good as it was eight years ago. The bunkers are better than most other public courses, but the fairways do need some better servicing. The greens are overall faster than other clubs, but there seems to be a lack of consistency between greens on different holes.

There are no free water facilities for golfers. Other courses have these fee water facilities with containers, lids and straws. Indian Palms does not and they cannot use Covid as an excuse for not providing them.

A well kept 27 hole venue that is a great value and moderately challenging. Pace of play can be over 4 hours and that is a drawback unless you play early

It's a wonderful course with a great history. One of the oldest course in the valley. Good course for all levels and ages of golfers.

The only thing bad with course is it was very wet.

Overall about 7,000 sq ft to cover just perfect you get drive the ball use your short pitch game and putt a little bit of everything definitely going back

Played 5 holes. Waited an hour for a replacement. No other carts were available. Finally just got a refund and left. Total disappointment.

Royal course could use a little bit of love. Indian course better shape. Overall a nice course
