The Oaks Course

This was my first time playing the course and it was very enjoyable. I must say I will be back to play another round.

The greens were in great condition. The fairways, tee boxes, and rough were also in good condition. I would give a five star rating if there were a few more bunkers, beverage cart, and winter green fairways - but aside from that, this course is great.

Course was was overbooked and clubhouse staff and ranger completely mismanaged the pace of play. Lunch at the turn took 15 minutes to get. On the backside 3-4 groups were on one hole for multiple holes. Ranger was unaware of the situation. They need to switch #1 and #10. To many golfers trying to drive the green on first hole and delays starting on time. We were backed up starting on #1

Great course,always in great shape. Not a better place to play on the east side of Atlanta

Course was in great shape...much better than I remember from years past.

Played this course for the first time on a Saturday morning. We teed off just before the men's league and were told that they would be right behind us and not to take too long looking for balls because it would slow them down. Not a great first impression but it wasn't a factor as we stayed out in front of them all day. No beverage cart service on a Saturday was also disappointing. The course was in great shape with receptive greens and well maintained fairways. Once you got away from the clubhouse, the course ran through some wooded areas and was beautiful. Overall a very good experience. Not sure I would go back just because there are so many more options in the greater Atlanta area.

This course is manicured well and in great shape. It is well worth the amount that we paid to play here! The staff was very friendly. Greens were fast and beautiful! Rough was a little thick so very important to stay in the fairways! Overall.....would recommend playing this nice course to anyone!

The course was selected by one of my buddies that has been lobbying the crew to play the Oak's course. The overall comments from the crew was that everyone enjoyed the course. The only issue was the speed of the greens. They were just a little slower than expected. The staff was friendly and the pace of play was fine. We will play the course again,

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course for the first time in several years. The greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in great condition and the only complaint I had was the pace of play. We were held up by a couple in front of us who we repeatedly had to wait on. Other than that it was a great round.

I had heard about this course before but did not play it until Saturday. What a pleasant surprise! The staff was very friendly. The course is in excellent shape. Shot selection is important. I am definitely going back.

Fun course to play. Greens had recently been punched, tended to run slow. Normally good test especially from black Tees. Fairways generous. Will definitely play again.

The course has many features including carries over water, hills, and doglegs in both directions. This older course is well maintained. The greens run true. The fairways are wide and the rough is fairly easy to escape from. There are "ambassadors" present to keep the flow moving along. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the round and we have all decided that we would like to return to play again.

Bobby Jones inspired....very nice golf course. No cakewalk despite yardage cited at 6500+. Very challenging and greens roll true and always well maintained . Kudos to greens keepers; they really keep this course in good shape as compared to most courses in east- Atlanta. Fun to play... Stay in fairway otherwise forget about it ... Don't even bother to look, drop take the penalty. You will not find the ball... There are some very interesting Par 5's and the Par. 3's play longer than printed yardage and accuracy is a must. You will enjoy this course.... The staff is quite nice and accommodating . Only issue, they need some "new" range balls... But that is easily forgotten by first drive. Price is typical to area .

6500 yards from the tips which made us chuckle think it would be easy. But let me tell you this course is no cakewalk! Especially the front nine. If you go off the fairway a foot, your ball is gone. Very thick fescue type grass lines many of the front holes. The back nine is a bit more forgiving. Greens are in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes are good as well.

Staff / management was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Course was in great shape. Some narrow tee shots, greens are tricky, but now that hard. some greens extremely fast, while others were average speed. great scenery.

Enjoyable round greens were excellent! I would definitely recommend this course for someone who wants to play a quality course.

The course is fairly open, but has some interesting challenges, including a tree strategically placed in front of a green. Both the fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Cart paths were very good with only a few bumps.
We all loved the play and will definitely be returning soon.

Well worth it. I will be back. The course was in good shape and greens were rolling true.
