The Oaks Course

I was a member of this course many years ago. I try to play it when I’m in town. Hdcp 0-6. The course is in as good a shape tee to green as you will find anywhere in Georgia. The greens were perfect. I would recommend you go play this course if you have the chance.

From the time we entered the clubhouse to sign up, we experienced a positive and hospitable environment.

Unlike the courses that are managed by large companies; The Oaks has a family ambience and the welcome feels sincere.

And the condition of the greens was much better that the other clubs in our are charging a lot more green fees.

Never disappointed with this course always in great shape. Toughest greens on the east side of Atlanta.

Greens roll smooth and true but fast. Best greens in the area. Course demands driving accuracy, as trees and rough play a major part in multi-bogey scores for wayward tee shots. Accurate tee shots give good birdie opportunities.

Very scenic and serene layout. Lots of challenging shots. Smooth greens. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent course, however, always very early tee times for Golfnow!!

Enjoyable round. Unique history and very playable course. Greens were in better condition than one may expect from a muni-ish course.

The course was great, the layout, the fairway. The greens was fast but in good shape. The still had water from the day before but not to bad.

I played with my sons about a week and a half after aeration. Greens have healed up nicely and it’s in great shape. Staff was great. We will be back.

This is a very well maintained golf course for its green and fairway except for its sand bunkers which lacked the sand. Beside, signages were lacking after the 8th tee.

Course layout & challenge are for the average golfers as there’s not much gradient and slope changes and having moderate water hazards. Overall it’s a “happy” course.
