Everything hard as a rock.
So you hit a beautiful drive on number 10 on the right side of the fairway and end up in a mud pit on the left side. Nope.
There were a couple of workers roaming around and ran over my son’s ball while it was moving. On another green a worker used a blower and blew a ball across a green. Talk about amateur hour.
Gold Cart smelled lot Pot
Course was in good shape, the greens were in very good shape. The pace of place was normal, overall the experience was good. We started early in the morning and the golf cart smelled like pot. Obviously some people like to smoke while they play but since we started so early the smell must have come from whoever was working in the cart barn. Pretty surprising for an early Sunday morning, not sure I would want an employee stoned on the job
Not Good
Over crowded never got tee off the backup was terribly mismanaged
Aerated but still good
We didn't know the course was aerated before paying full price. This is a good course It was a little rough in spots but what public course isn't. The layout offers a challenge from the tips without being too hard. Will like to play it again when the greens are fully healed.
There was no aerification alert when I booked and maintenance was being done on numerous holes. Maintenance staff also did not care if they were in our way at all. They made no attempt to stop what they were doing to let us play through and expected us to play around them. If maintenance needed to be done, I get it, but let people know ahead of time. I would have chosen another course if there was an aerification and maintenance alert.
Not the course I recall
Staff was surly. Seemed like we were in the way range was closed. We were pushed to complete the front nine in a hurry to clear for a scramble.
Just was not the experience we had expected
Greens were crap
When I first moved to the Ariel 10 years ago the course was perfect however even in drought conditions The $30 twilight price was not worth it. Little one the $75.09 AM price
This is a great course for the money
Definitely a great value for the money. Greens were in pretty good shape (grainy and slower but rolled good) and the course layout is one that your driver stay in the bag on a few of the par 4s off the tee. Driving range was closed but staff was friendly overall. The fairways are a bit hard and lost a few balls that were piped down the middle that must have rolled in the deep rough that should’ve been easy finds, but overall it’s hard to find a course in this good of condition in the price $ range.

Always good, especially early
Love making the trek to Appalachee, playing early (7am) is a bonus as ut tends to get slow.. Avoid the 5-6 hrs rounds this way. Course is in good shape, extra roll as ground is hard. I will be back
This course was in good condision
I have played here a few times. There were a few greens that had some problems. The greens had been sanded but not too resent.
It plays short and the course is a challenge. Over all it was a good day of golf.
