Great course
If you are a golfpass member use your £25 credit on the hot deal at seaton. It’s the best £25 hot deal on golfnow. Top 100 course for a reason. Very friendly pro and nice shop, can’t work out how many course layouts there are and why they change them in this way (22 holes?) but that’s a quirk of the place. If you live in West Yorkshire this is the best links close by- check it out.
Great course but experience spoiled by playing off mats
I have played Seaton Carew on several occasions and thoroughly enjoy playing on this great links course. However, I have scored this experience lower than before as we were asked to play off mats on the fairways or take a drop in to the semi rough and play from there. Disappointing when you’re are paying decent money to play and there is no advance warning of this requirement before you turn up.
Best links in the area
Couldn’t have hoped to find the course in better condition, greens firm & true. Bunkers & fairways in great condition for time of year. Well worth a visit
A great links course
Seaton Carew is a great links course at a reasonable price but still presenting a good challenge with all of the features expected of a links course - fast greens, firm fairways, undulations, swales, thick rough, etc.
Excellent condition. If I lived closer I’d be looking to join.
Look forward to my next visit.

Members and staff not welcoming. greenstaff ignorant car park was like a beach all wet sand that gets. everywhere. the course played holes which did not correspond to sat nav watchers not at all what i expected

Links golf
Even with the wind blowing and quite cold temperatures thoroughly enjoyed the round on an excellent course. Will certainly be looking to go back again.

Seaton Carew Golf Course
Booked an 11-08 tee off when i went to play there was a queue of 7 players in front (not a happy chappie) it was the coldest i have experienced got to the 12 tee and decided that it was to cold and as there was 7 in front of me a 3 and 4 ball not one of them let me go through(not a happy chappie again) as the pace was very slow i could not keep warm i have never quit a game bcause of the cold and wind chill.
Overall a nice course but very flat not as challenging as i thought it was well maintained summer tees and greens in play if they had stuck to my original 11-08 tee off this would have been different, complained and got a free game thats not the point.
I have based my review of the whole picture from start to finish.
What a course
If your looking for a challenge and love thinking your way around a course this is definitely for you!
Met a member on the first tee so we invited him out with us which made the round a lot more fun having the local knowledge, staff was very friendly and the bar area was great too

Seaton Carew
Seaton Carew is probably one of the best courses that I have played. As a south African and a keen golfer I have played many but nothing comes close to Seaton Carew, a great challenge.Very highly recommended.
Superb course
Simply a fantastic course in superb condition irrespective of the time of year. The greens were true and quick.
Awesome Bunkers
Booked 1015 tee time and arrived to find several groups waiting on the tee however things quickly got going. COurse in immaculate condition for the time of year and it was surprising that shoes and clothing came off unmarked. Normally pretty good at getting out of bunkers but the steep faces on some of these proved costly especially on one hole. All in all a fantastic day and we'll be back very soon.

Course in great condition , hope my home course greens are this good in the summer, weather cold but we were lucky no wind , throughly good day , I would recommend this course

Seaton Carew is in fantastic condition in the winter, good price also to play the golf course, a place worth Visiting if you haven't been.
