Great day on the course
Course was in good shape. Greens still recovering from recent plugging and sanding.
Been a long time…
It’s been literally decades since I played here. In town visiting family so went out to check it out.
Greens generally are in good condition although a few rough patches. Course was also in pretty great shape. Number 1 complaint was the pace of play - they really need a Marshall. Took us almost 5 hours to cover 18 holes which is pretty bad.
great course , little tight fairway
front desk personnel is great. i'm playing single and since there's no one on the first tee. he allowed me too tee off.
teed off at 2:40 pm and finished in 4hrs. fairway ar in good shape the putting green are little bumpy since they recently aerated, but not too bad.
great course.
Actively Punching and sanding the Greens
The reservation did not disclose punching and sanding of the greens the maintenance was being done while played. No scorecard on the cart and it ran out of juice on Hole 9. An immature rude loud mouth on the staff screamed at me that I should have called them instead of walking to the Clubhouse. This was unacceptable I will be writing Course Co and GOLFNOW.
Beautiful course
This is an amazing course!! I drove 5 hours from Los Angeles to Livermore just to golf there. I saw wild turkeys, ducks, dear, hawks and squirrels throughout the course. I love seeing wild life all around me while playing. Some tee boxes need work, but I loved the awesom bridges we crossed to get to different holes. Golf shop is little, but I bought a nice hat. There’s bar and food that is pretty nice. Good selection of alcohol. I ordered a delicious bbq bacon burger. I would definitely recommend it and return to play again.
Home course with lot's of character.
What I love most about Las Positas is the beautiful golfing community.
A great place to put your foot down, embrace the journey of the game; and develop life-long relationships with people taking the same adventure.
Greens are playing like a country club, bunkers are amazing, and there is plenty of challenge from the four different tees for anyone given their ability.
Several club options for those ready to play multiple times a week; and a support staff and training programs as well.
Love it!
