Fairways gone lol
I know the pandemic has played a part in the lack of upkeep for that course, but man it's going through tough times right now. Fairways are dry and greens are super slow. But you do get what you pay for. Still enjoy playing there.
Worst Experience Ever!
booked our tee time online, which doesn't allow you to pick the type of Golfers. We arrived for check in only to be told that we had to pay full price because we booked online, even though there is currently no other way to book. Once I paid full price for my two kids 10 & 8 I was told we were 4th up? I looked at the tee box and there was 1 group on the tee box and 3 waiting behind them all foursomes all stacked back to back???? Whats the point of having a tee time if your going to stack everyone up on top of each other? There was a complete disregard for social distancing while waiting to tee off? I asked for a refund and the employee said ok and typed some stuff on the computer and said it was done. 3 days later I have no return on that transaction I had to call my back to cancel and return funds. On our way out I asked the group that would have been in front of me, what time they had their tee time and they responded with , "we didn't have one, we just walked on". So the tee box was stacked because this guy was squeezing in foursomes walk on in-between tee times, thats ridiculous! By the way the course was in terrible conditions to top it off. I've been golfing for 25 years this was by far the worst experience I've ever had!!

Perfect layout
Small course with a lot of character. Perfect for walking a quick nine. Great for beginners and challenging enough for any golfer. Always a great time.
Letting the place go
Fairways and rough were dry and yellow. Greens were overwatered and bumpy. Played here many times before and this is the worst it has ever been

Course conditions are horrible
The staff are great, the price is awesome but the condition of the course is just so bad. The rough is filled with dead grass. The course is more yellow than green. The “sand” bunkers are just rock hard solid. It felt like I was hitting off of a rock. The greens have chunks of grass missing. And the green is so bumpy and rough. The course needs a major face lift.

Please water and repair grass.
I have shot Bixby about 40 times over the years.Listed are the good and the BAD:
1. 1/2 grass 1/2 dirt.
2. Grounds keepers running blower on 7th hole tee box while golfers try to tee up.
3. Greens so wet the ball lands and sinks below the surface. Dead spots and bumps on greens.
Good:
1.Fun layout for a small space.
Suggestions:
1.Have informational signage for the rookies who drive carts on greens,don't fix ball marks on greens, fight slow play, pick up after score is = to 8, hit when ready is safe but enjoy the game and let other enjoy..

First time playing in the age of the COVID 19, well deserved walk in the park
Can't beat it...
I have played here many times.... Mostly because for the price, you can't beat it. You use all your clubs and it has some long and short holes. The course is pretty dry but if your finding the fairways and hitting greens you'll be alright. It usually takes and hour and a half to two hours to walk. Just don't be surprised that you get what you pay for....I always have a good time and would recommend it for any beginner or amateur golfer of any age.

The course is not in good condition but you get what you pay for. Recommend for beginners.

Needs some love
It pains me to see how this course has fallen off. Needs lots of work getting at least the greens in good shape, but also the fairways too. Lots of dirt patches and dead areas. Could be a really fun course if they can fix it up a bit.

Layout of the course is really nice. 3 really nice Par 4s (For a 9 hole) that give the average and below golfer a nice challenge. Maintenance of the course really does need to improve but if you can look past that than it’s not that bad. I say this because 80% of putts should be straight in but your ball veers off because it hits some weeds in the green. It’s a solid 2.75 / 5
