Always been a neighborhood gem
Obviously, you can't really swing your driver out here, but this is a great place to work on your approach game, and the greens though not perfect, are way better than many other pitch and putts around town. The staff is perfectly friendly, the price is right, and the longest holes (~125) are actual holes, not just long versions of miniature golf. The attached diner is perfectly fine with plenty of tables, and overall, it's a fine day out.
Awesome Local Par 3 for great Short Game Practice
Hidden below Griffith park stands a decent Par 3 course to practice your short game mainly chipping and putting. On busy day it will get backed up on 2nd hole but mostly normal days you're out there free as a bird with no rush. You can play 2x and the replay is half off usually. Would definitely recommend! Most of all awesome STAFF.
Always a blast
This is a great place for a late afternoon hang with the guys. We walked to Morrison after for drinks. Great course and great area, plus, it’s a location for the film Swingers, and where Birdies was written!
Great 4 Beginners and good practice for short game
Course has great value for price and is great 4 beginners to start playing golf and learn the basics. Lots of trees that makes it narrow fairways to practice and shade for hot days.
A
Great small course to practice your inside game. Mat tee off on all 9 holes, very quiet and peaceful and great pace. Wasn't crowded early Saturday. Recommend it to anyone.
Very rude at the front desk
Went a couple of days ago and it was the worst experience I have ever had there been coming here for years. Had a booked tee time at 4:20pm and the front desk lady was trying to group me with 3 other people and she pushed my tee time to later time to 4:50p to be grouped with some other people. Disappointing because she let other people play in their own groups but didn’t let me and my group.
Pretty good quick par 3! Couple things to note before chosing
Loved this course for practice purposes. I golfed by myself & was able to play two balls quickly. I didn’t use anything besides my 9, pitch, dual wedge, & 60. A couple things to note. First, all the tee boxes are turf which is always a bummer for me personally. I golfed in January & there were a lot of leaves so it was kinda easy to lose your ball if you aren’t on or around the green on your first shot. I also golfed on a Monday & it was pretty quick but I would be concerned about the pace if I was golfing on the weekend. Overall I enjoyed this experience especially for the price. I’ll definitely be back
Very small, Overly crowded, not worth the effort
Course is very small and narrow. Groups get backed up big time. City should convert it into a training course. Hold tournaments for kids.
