Hidden jewel
I really liked this course. It’s 9 holes but it has 6 par 4s. Not very long but the views of downtown and the rest of the city make it worth while. We could see all the way to Long Beach. A deer ran around the rough of hole 3 and 4. Breath taking views combined with a good solid walk and throw in some golf. I loved it, but maybe it was because I played real well(for me). I was 3 over for the day(birdie and 4 pars). Best 20$ for golf you could spend IMO.
Top 3 City Course in LA
This place is almost a perfect track and such a gem tucked in the hills of Griffith Park. It’s affordable, long (for a 9 hole), nicely kept, and beautiful.
For starters there is a great pitching and putting practice area that is in great condition. This is also a 9 hole that you can play your full bag since there are many par 4s with challenging layouts for all skill levels. Keep an eye out for views of Griffith Observatory while putting or teeing off.
To finish the cafe by the starter window has great food and beverage options for before or after playing. I have no criticism of this muni course whatsoever.
Great course
This was my second time playing here and certainly not the last. The course is located in such a scenic spot and has a nice lay out. We're going back tomorrow morning to play another round.
Token Hollywood Nine
This course is a walking 9 right at the base of the Griffith Observatory, Hollywood hiking trails, and right across from The Greek Theatre. If there ever was a token "Hollywood Course" this fits right into the theme.
The rate of play is pretty slow as it's a walking course with plenty of amateur players in the mix. Keep in mind that during daylight savings months if you book a tee-time 3:30 or later you won't make it through all 9 before dark.
The course is well kept and very playable for all skill levels while offering some challenging, yet fun, course design. The views on the 8th and 9th are incredible!
First time
Wow really enjoyed playing there, it was our first time and will definitely play again in a little cooler weather.
No better 9
Have always loved this place. Great character and setting. No overly challenging, but a decent test. Great location in the heart of LA that you wouldn't even know was there. I bring friends here that are avid golfers who live in LA that never knew the place existed. Nice little gem to spend a couple hours swinging the sticks. Great value for the money!
Best 9 hole I’ve played so far.
This is by far the best 9 hole I’ve played in L.A. so far. It’s tough but in a good way. I definitely will be coming back gain soon.
First time
Great 9 hole... both for beginners and adv... be ready to walk and enjoy some nice views
