Roosevelt Municipal Golf Course

Loved the course, it was just right for my experience level. We had lots of fun!

Magical Los Angeles course. 9 holes and deers come out to see you play. (Or suck). The staff is unbelievable friendly. I met a man who works at the desk. I don’t know his name but talking to him made me feel comfortable about the course. Gave me good tips of how to be a better golfer. The course had many divots. It’s not the staffs fault. Is ours. We don’t put the grass back. I put many divots back. I wish we all did.

The course is really in great condition from tee to green. Well kept and maintained by expert care and greens keep. Roosevelt is a LA gem with fabulous vista's of DTLA. Today I caught deer on hole #8 and it was magical. They were grazing and unassumingly bold, I got within 20ft! (not disturbing them)

The course play is spectacular. A lot of blind tee shots with dog legs and uphill approach shots. LA City Golf is an under rated secret.

Worthwhile if you’re new to golf and live somewhat close

They are welcoming and friendly. They only thing missing was golf carts

I played here regularly in the late 90’s and I enjoyed it very much. Today I returned for the first time since then and the overall condition was solid. Fairways were lush and the greens were nice and true. Hilly, few doglegs and lots of tall trees will keep you in check. . Driver on 1,2, 4 and 5 for me. Other holes 3 wood n hybrid.The 3 par 3’s were 150-165. Good times. I wouldn’t mind a cart here but no dice. I lost 2 balls too, no bueno. Left with a a 45. Im returning very soon n break 40 I hope. Take it back low n slow

Great course for the starving beginner to intermediate player. More than half the courses are long and many trees to challenge your play. No water obstacles and very few sand traps. Great value for sure. Only walking.

long holes for most of the courses. Easy to play, great challenging obstacles that make the play worthwhile. totally recommended

Love it here, love a nice 9 hole that allows you to bring out the driver.

great 9 hole for $16. There are several short par 4’s that dogleg to make holes more difficult. This course has great views of surrounding griffith park and observatory. Some tee boxes are currently under construction and at times it could be difficult to make a tee time.
