Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

Great Course
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I hit a very busy day as we were just behind a tournament. Course was in superb condition, and the clubhouse facilities were first rate. Price included range balls, which was really appreciated. I will definitely play there again.

Good conditions, 2 hr frost delay cramped our style, conflicting communication regarding the delay
Like this course. We arrived 30 min before our tee time and were told we would start around 2:30 pm two hours late. We talked around with others and the starter and were able to be moved up an hour and enjoyed warming up on the nicely appointed driving range. Chipping area and putting greens. Play was pretty slow though and finished in the dark at 5:20.
Communication around the delay was not consistent among the staff. It worked out OK but was frustrating. Also the course would not offer a rain check to play another time. Not sure how golf now would handle a credit after we decided to cancel because we couldn’t play until 2 hours after our original tee time. Because we checked in 30 minutes before our tee time could we cancel our tee time and be refunded???
Overall a lees than enjoyable experience.
Beyond Slow
They need Marshall or overbooking tee times. We were 38 minutes behind pace.
Woodhaven is notoriously slow
Pace was very slow. Teed off at 1:20 and the first 9 took 2 3/4 hours! They said it was because of frost delays and two tournaments earlier in the day. But I have run into this problem almost every time I have played at Woodhaven.
