Located in the heart of the Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, Woodhaven Country Club offers panoramic views that stretch across the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. The golf course has a traditional desert landscape but the stunning mountain views elevate it to a truly unique experience. The course has a classic design that is player friendly enough for beginners and even gentle enough juniors. It may not be what you're looking for if you want a formidable test, but more advanced players will appreciate it for a quick casual round. It's also great for working on your short game skills. The golf course is short and tight with immaculately manicured greens. You won't find much water at Woodhaven Country Club except on the 17th, which seems like its nearly all water.

Last minute fill-in was alright
Got screwed by an unexpected monsoon that closed SilverRock and PGA West so wound up finding this place. The greens are chewed up and the course is ultra narrow, but it’s not without charm. Tee boxes were fine, and the pin placements were fair. Not much in the way of amenities but it wasn’t the worst place. I’d come back, for the price.

This was pure as frick. This is worth your money just for the cart alone. This was amazing!!!! Some baked greens but other than that so pure
Do not play here on the weekends holy….
Insane pace of play issue, got a great deal for a Saturday morning at 8:20 and it took an HOUR to play a hole and a half with 4 groups on hole 4 we saw ahead. I left after the 2nd hole. Quickest slowest round of golf I’ve ever played hah. Figure it out that 5 minutes in between tee times ain’t working woodhaven… especially when people aren’t going off on time. Considering the insane rain the desert got course was in alright condition the greens were half dirt likely from water just sitting on them for an extended period of time. Oh well it was a great course to play for a while on the weekdays at like 3pm.
Worth the cost
Definitely will return.
Greens are bad and they know it. They’re working on it though.

Bad greens
The course is fine except for the greens. The turf is gone and in its place is dirt/weeds.

Horrible Greens
This is a really nice course, with a great layout. Unfortunately, the greens were horrible. The ball literally bounced on every putt.
If you’re going to take everyone’s money early in the morning, have someone there to provide coffee/breakfast burrito/breakfast sandwich/anything to help a golfer get through the next three or four hot hours of play.
