Lake Spivey Golf Club

Please ensure that timely updates are communicated. Placed a reservation for 11/6/22 at 8:30am. Arrived at 8:00am along with several golfers ready to play and see the changes. Clubhouse never opened and someone informed us that the course will be opening on the 12th.

I drove almost an hour to Lake Spivey, and it cost me! on my only golf day of the week.

We were told at check in that the course was weeks away from closing for renovations. Course conditions were not good, but will go back with much higher expectations.

the greens were killed of so they can be replaced in the near future

i would not recommend playing at this time

Course not mowed. Greens are in rough shape. No fringe..everything is pretty much rough

After paying too much money, we learned the course would be closing in two weeks. They said all greens would be replaced. They have let the old ones go.

Way to much money for this course. All greens are in the worst shape around. Cart paths will beat you to death. Waste of money.

The fairways weren’t mowed and played like a 2” rough.

Every green was beat up. Where there was grass, it was thin…. Most of the greens were pocketed with huge patches of dirt.

Sadly this course is deteriorated and in horrible condition I would not recommend anyone play it the greens are trash mud holes throughout the grass has been cut it looks like with a bad lawn mower with high spots all over It's really sad because you can tell it used to be a beautiful course

Greens in very poor shape. They ran out of golf carts so we had to wait about 40 minutes after scheduled tee time just to get a car. Fairways were hard as a rock. Drastically in need of a sprinkler system and green resurfacing.

Use to love spivey golf course , dont know what happened , but course not that good , greens suck , pure and simple , a course you good to practice on , Im alittle disappointed in Spivey right now

I had practice the day before because I had an awful time at another golf course. Being at lake Spivey in solitude did me some good. I shot a 39 on the front on the back I shot a 47 old bad habits were trying to overtake me plus half of the back greens were crusty. I hope they can fix the rear greens.
