Lake Spivey Golf Club

Nice track. They ha e reversed the front and back nine. The greens were in bad shape. Tee boxes were ok but markers are faded.

I love the course when it's in goog playing shape. However, the courss is in need of maintenance! Staff is satisfactory but could extend a little more courte8 and less arrogance!

I played this course about 5 months ago and I promised not to go back because of the terrible condition of the greens. While playing a different course, the individual I was paired with told me all the greens had been reworked and was in great shape. I decided to go back because it's close to where I live. BAD decision! The guy was either confused about the course I was talking about or there is more than one Lake Spivey. As you can see from the photos they are bad. I complained to GOLFNOW and the course reported they had just aerated the greens and that's why they were sandy. You be the judge.

Clubhouse was nice. Staff was friendly. Course conditions weren’t great.

Was impressed with the friendly staff. Course is setup for all players. A few greens need repair work but overall nice fairways and tee boxes. Will visit this course again.

This course is great. My friend is semi pro and loved it. He shot a 71 and hit some tough shots. I would highly recommend this course.

The staff were very nice. The greens need work but you can see they are trying to bring them along. My suggestion would be to lower the price until the greens are back up to par.

This was the first time I played here. There was a miscommunication between the course and GOLFNOW because we booked a 10am tee time but the course wasn’t opened until 11am due to weather.

The course as a whole is nice. It was confusing from one hole to another because of missing signs but all in all decent course.

I will say the staff is very nice! One gentleman (head ground keeper, I think) was very informative about what was going on and made sure the players got great service. The guy working in the shop was the same way because there was a good amount of us there waiting. They made sure all players were comfortable and informed of the situation.

All in all, give this course a shot.

Nice course good layout greens need a little work or some growth

Let me start by saying that I LOVE SPIVEY! I'm sorely disappointed in the condition of the greens this round though. I mean the whole front 9 greens were abhorrent! The back was better but not astronomically better. Why are they still charging full ticket to play on greens you can't reasonably putt on?? That hurt my feelings immensely! Why not at least speak on it and let me decide if I'm cool with putting on greens that look like they've got mange!

The greens on the course were HORRIBLE we were told prior to booking tee time that the greens were in great shape maybe 1 or 2 of them have a few bad spots, WRONG they were all in bad shape. and it gets worst as you are driving on the cart paths you quite often BUST YOUR BALLS from the raggedy cart paths. Wish I could get a refund will not recommend course
