Tucked away in the Pittsburg foothills, Delta View Golf Club offers exactly what its name implies, beautiful views of the Delta as well as Mount Diablo in the background. The course originally opened as a nine-hole layout in 1947 but it was lengthened to an 18-hole course in 1991. The rolling terrain allows for elevated tees and undulating greens that make it feel longer than the 6,317 yards indicated on the scorecard. The numerous dogleg fairways and abundance of mature trees also add to the illusion of length. Delta View Golf Club's signature hole comes halfway through the course on the par-3 ninth. This demanding hole requires a carry over water to a green that slopes from back to front. You can make up for any mistakes on the next hole, a par 4 that offers a good birdie opportunity.

Great Value/Course is in Very Decent Shape
The course is in decent shape right now. The greens are almost completely back from a Mid-March seeding but are very slow. The course, overall, seems to have been watered nicely and is has a nice shade of green. Yesterday happened to be Mother's Day and with the Players Championships, the A's, the Giants and the Warriors in a playoff game, all almost at the same time, we were able to finish 18 in a little under 4 hrs.

Good course. Wish the greens ran true. Overall very well kept. The staff is awesome. The best I have come across in the area.
Delta View
First time for me playing Delta View and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The track was a lot of fun: challenging layout, numerous elevation changes and some great views. The course was in very good shape but many of the greens haven't fully recovered from aeration and were pretty inconsistent. All said though I will absolutely play this course again!

Course is close and easy to get to but, the horrific customer service I received is why I will NEVER return.
9:14 tee time on a Saturday. Completed round at 3:06 PM. I asked the folks in the golf shop at the turn why on earth is it taking 2 hours and 50 minutes to play 9 holes? Where is the ranger? Ranger is out there he said, (our group never saw him/or her). That is about our Par time here, enjoy your round. These folks have no idea how to run a golf course.

The course was in very good condition.
I liked all aspects of the golf course. It has great views of the delta. The only drawback is the breezy conditions. The staff was great. Fairways, greens and T-boxes were in great shape.
i like this course and has been my home course when I first playing golf.

Good Place to Play and a great price.
Played Delta View on a Saturday afternoon with a 2:15 start time for $25 including a cart. The course seemed to be in very good condition. Most of the fairways are wide, with a good amount of room before you find OB. A couple of lakes were not filled with water, so that made things a tad bit easier. I don't play that often, so I tend towards the easier courses, and I would rate this as easier than average. Just how I like them. It is also quite hilly, so be prepared if you are walking.
Get out early. Gets hot and windy late afternoon
If lived closer would definitely golf here more often . Decent pricing if booked online. (Golfnow). Go play!!!
Couse in very good shape
My son and I hooked up with another twosome and had a great round. Slow in the beginning then pick up after the 3rd, hole.
Good value some challenging holes, cart paths need repair and coarse needs some TLC.

Never played this course before, and I'm so glad I did! I heard that wind could be a factor at this course, but did not have that problem when I played. Course is very good! Lots of challenging holes, but at the same time, has a few holes which leaves you an opportunity for some great shots and scores! Will definitely play again!
course has been improved over the last year
just a little more sand in the traps a little muddy.
needs attention
Staff needs to keep fresh water in ball washers. Cart path is in horrible shape. Pace of play was very slow again! Marshall is needed badly if course continues to send out GROUPS OF FIVE befor noon. WHY DO THIS!
Overall a good value course
Played the course on a very windy day and our scores suffered. Other times when it's less breezy, it's a fun course to play. Lots of challenges with magnificent views. Worth the money.
Good bang for your buck
This is my home course. Typically they have reasonable green fees throughout the day, even on weekends. There is a nice variety of holes, especially short par 4s that require less than driver. The only issue at times is pace of play, but you'll find that at most public courses in the area. Definitely worth checking out.

Good Local Course
Last week the greens had been sanded and were terrible, it would have been nice to know that up front. It's a fun and challenging course and most of the staff are great. You get a good rate through Golfnow, better than even a resident going straight to the course. Week-end refreshment cart needs a lot of work, infrequent and never fully stocked, take a hint and take your own. That all being said we enjoy playing there.
