Tucked away in the Pittsburg foothills, Delta View Golf Club offers exactly what its name implies, beautiful views of the Delta as well as Mount Diablo in the background. The course originally opened as a nine-hole layout in 1947 but it was lengthened to an 18-hole course in 1991. The rolling terrain allows for elevated tees and undulating greens that make it feel longer than the 6,317 yards indicated on the scorecard. The numerous dogleg fairways and abundance of mature trees also add to the illusion of length. Delta View Golf Club's signature hole comes halfway through the course on the par-3 ninth. This demanding hole requires a carry over water to a green that slopes from back to front. You can make up for any mistakes on the next hole, a par 4 that offers a good birdie opportunity.

Play when you've got no where else to play.
It doesn't have a great layout, the fairways are like cow pastures, there is no sand in the bunkers and the greens are slow.
The rates are relatively high unless you use the GolfNow Hot Deals rates.
This course has good value, great customer service and challenging holes
I live in Hercules, this course with being 25 miles away from me is becoming my home course, I think that says it all
Interesting design
Delta View has a great variety of holes- downhill, uphill, short, long, easy, hard. It is never a boring round of golf. The condition of the course appears to have deteriorated over the years, especially the bunkers and the fairways (overwatered). The price is a little more than the competition usually.
Get Over It!
Signed up for 3some and our 4th showed up. Charged him full rate even though we play 2-4 times a month at this course. Excusable except all other Golfnow courses Always allow add ons...too bad.
Course is fun, not too hard yet challenging
I would play here everyday if I had the chance. Course is maintained pretty well and there are about 16 out of 18 holes that are great to play on.
A good course to play when it's maintained.
Most of the holes require some strategy and will reward you for executing your shots properly. Toward the end of summer, some of the holes are dry where there should be water hazards. It's a good course to use a cart on.
Wind can be good
Delta View is a good coarse to test your game. Through "Golfnow.com" its easy on the bank account. Most of the tee boxes are okay, a couple are bad. Most of the fairways a good, some are bad. The greens are nice a little on the slow side though. The views are very nice. The wind makes the coarse very challenging. There are some good dog legs as well. That's why I like to play Delta view.
Fun course
I didn't expect much for the price, but this is actually a pretty good course. It's facilities are older, but it's well-watered and has some fun elevation changes. Great value and was fairly empty for a Saturday..
Fun course, check the weather for wind conditions
If you like elevated tees and greens this is the course for you. The only issue is the wind. The course in built in the hills and a windly day can make it almost unplayable.

great course when conditions are normal. you must know how to shape your shots on some fairways.
Not for the faint of heart
Shot-makers course with difficult green complexes and lots of suckers pins. Not a great course for beginners. It will eat you up. Lot of hacks holding up play. Need to be at least 18 Hcp to not get beaten up by the course. Duffers should pick up at 8 strokes to keep up with pace of play.

Dear gn7goose – We’re sorry you felt the pin placements were unfair and the green complexes were difficult. We think our course is very forgiving in many ways, mainly that our course isn’t very long and we have 20 – 25 feet of closely mowed aprons around the greens. We are a busy course, especially on the weekends and pace of play can always be improved upon. We hope you’ll come back and give us another try! We look forward to seeing you back on the course.
