Beautiful!
Rancho Murieta North. Is an older course: not long, lots of mature trees, narrow, elevation changes, with tough greens. They used to play PGA events here 30 years ago, and I can see why. It’s a challenge!
Doesn't make sense!!
They say they are doing Golf now to increase revenue, but, they limit anyone who lives close to 3 rounds a year. Doesn't make sense. Is it even legal to discriminate against someone by where they live??
challenging greens
North course in good condition--some fairways not perfect but the greens are real nice and fast and tough to read...some u can't be above the hole or you're doomed!! Very nice course overall with lots of wildlife too

Excellent pro shop staff, nice course layout & pace of play was swift! Limited times available so take advantage of it!
True Hidden Gem
Rancho Murieta really feels like classic Sacramento golf at its finest. Lots of mature oaks, cool elevation changes and the feeling that the course was cut naturally its surroundings.
Really fun layout with a lot of variety and challenge. Some holes are super gettable and others, you'll feel like par is a gift. You will need every club in the bag, but it is always fair.
If you have the chance, you should try and find a way out here, as it is well worth your time.
Only allowed 3 rounds a year
Of all the golf now courses I've played, this is the only one that limits you to 3 rounds a year. They say they are trying to increase their revenue but on the other hand they limit play. Very few want late afternoon rounds anyway. Makes know sense!! But, the pro shop staff are excellent!!
Too Many Homes
I was really disappointed with this course. A private club that makes you hit off mats on the driving range is unacceptable. The putting green is severly sloped, so it's hard to get a good feel of the greens. The greens on the course were slow. There are so many hole that have homes on both sides of the holes and right up against the fairways. I will never be back.
