Very Good Conditioning; Played 3 Hrs. 50 Min.
The golf course is in very good condition. Fairways have green grass in all spots and the golf ball sits up nicely (unlike Whitney Oaks GC in Rocklin). Greens in decent shape too. A little on the slow side, but at a manageable speed--not bumpy. No burned greens. Pace of play was fantastic. Finished 18 holes in 3 hours and 50 minutes, with a sixsome (yes that's 6 golfers) playing in front of us on the front nine, and then a fivesome (5) in front of us on the back nine. We had a foursome and never had to wait. With cloud cover, it was a nice temperature day.
No thank you.
My back lawn has been hammered by my dog for the past three years and it’s still in better condition than the tee boxes at this course. I will not be playing here again.
Good course - high fees
This course only allows reservations via their website. The fees are $54 each(senior riding) which is appx $6 more than other public courses in the area. While a nice course, it is not $6 better than other muni courses. Probably my last time we play there.
Underappreciated Gem
Playing a lot of courses around Sac and Napa, I find Diamond Oaks a hidden gem in the middle of Roseville. The course is immaculate and well maintained. It's great for a cart and is also the perfect length at <6000yds for walking.
Great Pace of Play
Diamond Oaks consistently spaces out their teetimes such that I am always able to finish 18 holes in about 4 hours. The course is also very well maintained. Thank you for your great work.
Conditions.
Course was in pretty good condition. A few bare spots in the fairways but overall I’d give the fairways 7.5 out of 10 greens were in really nice shape a little furry and slow but played nicely.
Like the feel.
Good to see Kids on the course !! Very slow play ( 5 hr. round) but had a great time !!
Great open course
Open course - Easy to find your ball, greens played fair.
Good time on a Saturday morning
Coarse conditions and pace of play were good for a Saturday morning. Greens were a bit on the slow side but rolled smoothly. A couple of fairways on the back nine are starting to cook and need attention. Beverage cart made several laps.
