Tree problems
Not a bad layout, with possible exception of many large dead looking trees that overhang on fairway shots.
Blind shots to number of greens are a challenge.
Fairways and roughs had a lot of slick spots of muddy
good shape still-greens good and true
Course is in good shape-some grass areas browning due to winter and are short so chipping is difficult but overall pretty good-greens good
Course Conditions
Fairway needs seeding lots of bear places. First cut needs seeding even more. Most disappointing is greens are way to slow.
Easy Course
Well kept average course nothing really notable, had a good time and will be back.
Not bad
I haven't played Diamond for over a year, you guys don't offer many deals and the place of play is generally not good. The day I played the greens and fairways need mowing badly. On several tee boxes the grass reached the top of my tee. 3 weeks out from punching the greens were pretty much what I expected - slow & bumpy. At $32 I still think I overpaid for what I got.
The hot dog was excellent., however paying nearly $10 for a dog & soda is a bit much. I will definitely eat before I come out next time.
Greens and wet spots
Did not know greens were sanded 3 days earlier or would have not played there. many wet or damp spots on course. Overall experience not very good.
After the intense summer heat...
After a long period of excessive heat, Diamond Oaks seems to have weathered things better than most area courses. Greens were running true though we noted many unrepaired ball marks (likely from previous evening players...we were out before daybreak). The AM staff established a good pace & the weather was surprisingly cooperative. My only criticism is the condition of some of the tee boxes. We hit this course about once per month.
Enjoyed playing golf with my son who was celebrating his birthday.
Very Enjoyable Course
Very pleased with all aspects of this facility. Course is well maintained and definitely not a pushover. Fun to play. Highly recommend.
Nice course, slow play
I like the layout and condition of the course including the greens!
Too many beginners that slows down the pace of play!
Good Course
Course was very busy, group ahead of us was very slow.
Fun course
Great local course in Roseville. Green are challenging but no impossible.
Go during the week to play a quick round.
