Arrowhead country club
A jewel in the middle of san bernardino great layout challenging greens great staff
fun day
plays long, wide fairways, nice greens, fairways a little thin in spots but all n all a good course.
Fairways aren’t great but the greens are trash!
I played this course 2 weeks after it turned public and was blown away with the condition of the greens. As the years and owners have changed the courses conditions have diminished. ALL of the green are in shambles! Like it’s been punched all year round. Definitely a price break compared to Sierra lakes but not fun putting on pox marked greens.
The second disappointment is the bathroom situation. As of now there is only one but it’s the ONLY one for the whole course and it’s under constant construction. You guys can’t afford for higher end ports-potties throughout the course?! It’s not the best solution but at least it’s an attempt.
I really am not trying to complain, I’m trying to just communicate how much I miss the quality and potential of this club. I hope it’s just a phase and I’m just in the middle of it

lack of maintenance
Greens are burned from fertilizing in heat. Bunkers need a lot of work.

No consistency on greens
Bunkers are random. Need work. Greens are scared from fertilizing in heat with not enough water.
I think I will give this place a rest for a couple of months or so. Good shots are not rewarded with good lies.

A place to be on a sunny day
I see that the golf club has been under terrible management before but now I see that the new owners are really interested on making this place beautiful.
Overpriced
This golf course is what you would expect for San Bernardino. Conditions are like the neighborhood, one nicely kept hole followed by one that needs attention.
My only complaint is the walking fee is the same as the fee with a cart, this is what keeps me away and is shameful to not encourage the community to walk and get exercise.

Won't go again
Course was in OK shape. However, the round took almost 5.5 hrs due to slow play ahead of us. Went out at 8:50am and didn't finish until after 2pm.. That's insane, this course needs a marshal.
Also, no snack bar or restaurant and only bathrooms were after the 9th hole.
I'm not going back to this place. I'll golf at Shandin or Sierra Lakes or any other course before this place again. Second time in a row its taken forever to get through a round.

Did not get to finish.
Needs a marshal to keep the pace of play moving along. Lots of beginners and slow players with no golf etiquette.
Bunkers need attention. Overwatering course without grooming the bunkers. Sand settles to the bottom, wet heavy and compacted
