Arrowhead Country Club

Course was in terrible condition. Fairways were almost dirt. Had very thin in most places. Greens were best thing about course and they would tests about a 5. Will not play here again for free. Very disappointed!!!

Arrowhead has the potential to be a pretty nice course, if the owners would just put some time and money into it. The fairways are pretty bad, so even if you hit a great drive in the middle of the fairway, you could still have a bad lie. Also, the greens are horrible. They're better than they were a few months ago, but they're still extremely slow and full of divots and other imperfections. They did trim all the trees a few months ago so the course definitely looks better because of that. If the owners would fix the greens properly and do some better course maintenance in the fairways, this could be a pretty nice little course.

I had hoped with the new ownership the conditions would improve. So far not much progress. The aeration was over 6 weeks ago and still massive holes in the greens. They have eliminated most of the crabgrass from the fairways which now don't have much grass. The bunkers are pretty much without sand. I'll give it a try in another month or so.

AFTER THE COURSE DESIGN, I cannot see anything good about the course. Hope they get it back together. But also charging me about $48 + GN fee w/cart to play was RIDICULOUS. (Very Walkable course slight uphill going right to left) One bathroom on the whole course and you had to walk to it off the 10th tee. I had 9:30 tee time and asked to play earlier. They said 20-30 minutes when I arrived at 8:45a. Two guys went off just before me.I could have joined them. Just walked up to tee box NO announcement. Just hit mulitple balls behind them, a twosome behind me (Dad & Son). Greens were aerated about a month ago and still in bad condition,.Sand very hard. Narrow fairways and nicely shaped by trees. Tee Boxes were in bad shape. Check out tee maps as water will appear out of nowhere on 1st time. #15 Par 3 over lake...Will be in the area again, but NOT on my list to play for a few years or renovations done.

They raised the price a little without improving a yard of the course...have always tried to play here a couple times a year because the lay out is fun and a challenge with some longer par 3's. As other have said we will wait awhile and keep tabs on reviews before playing here again....so bad my friend did not want to play so we just hit a bucket of balls and left......

Whole courae needs major repair maintenance through out. Fairways spotty grass, some areas wet some bone dry and bare. Most greens very bumpy due to resent aeration. Looks like filled in with dirt instead of sand. Almost impossible to have putt to roll true through mini minefield. Some tee boxes also very bare.

Pace of play was good today and staff very friendly.

Will not play here again until I see some major inprovement in the reviews and comments.

My buddies and I have been playing here for about three years now. Recently we've noticed that the greens are much faster than they used to be. Before, they were so slow you almost felt like you were playing croquet and had to really hammer your putts. The greens are very much improved and slow greens are no longer an issue. Also, they must have spent a ton of money having the trees all trimmed becuase it was A LOT of work. We saw tree guys there for weeks. The end product is a 100% improvement, the courst looks MUCH nicer nown.

Played ACC today at 11:50 with a POP of just under 4 hours due to fewer golfers(we took our 'sweet' time). I think Halloween miiight just be a good day in the future to 'BOOk' a round as it seems like lighter than normal pressure on the tee sheets? Preservation Golf LLC recently purchased ACC and there are many improvements going on here. I saw improvements, like landscaping, building maintenance, serious re-construction to the snack bar(kitchen and dining room) between 9 & 10, better tree husbandry, many bunkers and a tee box. Good to see this happening.

Fairways, 3 out of 5, winter overseed coming in

Bunkers, still 2 out of 5, but improving

Rough, 3 out of 5, mixed bag of grasses but thankfully at sensible depths

Greens, 3 out of 5, only because the recent big tine aeration isn't visually healed, but it just about plays like it is. They were nice for any approach shot and putted at medium to medium-fast speed.

Looking forward to seeing continued improvements here, so I can enjoy this course and bring them more of my business.

Honestly could t ask for more. Nice tee box good fairway and ok greens. Over all great day
